Just to make sure, a trans male is a person born female that identifies as a male and not the other way around, right? Sorry about my lack of knowledge, I try to learn more. Anyway, Sam would be surprised at first but would intently listen to the whole story because he knows it’s something important for that person. And even if Sam would be quiet for a brief moment as he tries to take it in, he would comfort him and do his absolute best to make him feel as comfortable as possible because he knows it was probably hard to confess all of that. Sam would definitely joke around to lighten the mood and make him feel at ease (something like “man, you messed up because I thought I couldn’t love you more and now you tell me this story!”) to let him know that doesn’t change the way he sees him, and would be super supportive! Perhaps Sam doesn’t know much about the subject, but he’s always there to help in any way he can for sure! Whether it is by just listening to him or standing up for him or anything at all, he’ll make sure to always be there and make him happy with hus humor and charm. He might mess up sometimes, but Sam knows how to make it up for him.
