I try to think of what to say, but it's hard. I'm usually not at a loss for words. We were lucky to have him in our family whether as a father, uncle, husband, brother in-law, or whatever. The times spent with him will forever be treasured. You can't forget the awesome stuff he gave out at Halloween. Nowhere else did you get such damn good stuff. You maybe gone, but you won't be forgotten. Rest easy. Until we meet again. #RIP
Babysitting
Harvey's heart was full, tonight, for he had his niece over to visit. His brother never really asked Harv to look after her, given Harvey's vices and habits he wasn't someone his brother deemed as much of a parental type. Tonight though, he had no other choice, so Uncle Harvey was on. Harvey would admit to anyone he wasn't great with kids, but he did his very best with little Donna, whom he preferred to call Donneta. His brother had an emergency at work, and while Harvey would have normally said no, tonight he said yes to looking after her. He was off the next day and he could use the distraction. He was working a rather hard case and her sass would likely lift his spirits. So there they were, one little kid and a big one passed out. His niece laid on his stomach while he laid on the couch with the Princess Bride playing on his TV, despite the fact that they didn't last for more than twenty minutes before sleep came to claim them each. Uncle Harvey may have not been perfect, but he was excellent at naps.
