Dear Uncle Hide
I miss you and Daddy so much. Mommy says you’re in a better place, and Daddy is off fighting far away again. I wish I could see you again. Mommy says sometimes when we are sad we should write letters to those we miss.
I remember when you helped me draw my first unicorn. Uncle Ratchet kept teasing you. You and him got into a big fight. I still have that picture its right next to the one picture of me You, Mommy and Daddy.
I know you won’t see this letter unless somehow you are able to come back from that place. I’m eight years old now and my birthday party is tomorrow. I’m making my theme Robots and Unicorns. Mommy says its a good way to honor you without anyone knowing.
I better get back to working on my homework before mommy catches me. I love you and Daddy. I hope you watch over all of us, but most of all please make sure Daddy comes home safely.
