I can imagine the robinsons’ family group chat is incredibly chaotic 💀

It is INSANE. Every Robinson has a unique typing style and it would take a whole cypher to understand a days worth of messages.

Because this wasn’t really a concrete ask, I’m going to write the hc’s about what each Robinsons like in the chat.

Wilbur / T!meL0rd: Misspells everything. Definitely a meme spammer. Has been banned four times.

Cornelius: Doesn’t have a cool username. Uses proper texting literate, but says ‘lol’. Uses reactions more than he talks.

Franny / FrannysFrogTheater: Her username wasn’t supposed to be that long, she misunderstood what it was. She’s always active and respond in four seconds, but it never on her phone somehow. Weird.

Gaston / CANNONBAL: TYPES IN CAPS A LOT!!!! Sends photos of everything - selfies, his cannons, nature, anything he sees.

Art / Galaxy3F: He uses voice messages a lot, and they’re often horrible audio quality. Cannot type correctly even a little. Isn’t LEGIBLE. He’s determined to figure it out though.

Laszlo / F!R3W0RK: His username has nothing to do with his hobbies. He has a typing quirk, 100%. Uses GIFs a lot, and pronounces them JIFs.

Tallulah / FashionBB🏳️‍⚧️: Also posts memes but not often. Doesn’t talk in chat a lot. Forgets punctuation a lot, but proper caps.

Fritz / FritzRobinson2: Has to use Siri to send messages because Petunia makes it hard to type. Therefor most of what he says makes no sense.

Billy / CHOOCHOO!7 : Can she use a phone? No. She breaks her phones so often her number changes twice a week. She only responds to Fritz, Joe, and Gaston. Nobody understands why.

Joe / SweatGainer : The silent stalker of the chat. He watches everything but never talks in chat. Uses reactions sometimes. Once said ‘k’ and everyone cheered.

Carl / xX.R0bo.Xx: The chat mod. Only really types if to moderate something, or to randomly ban people for his amusement. Sends TikToks in chat at night just to annoy Wilbur, who never silences his phone.

Spike / Thing #1: Did not choose his username. Starts group video calls during genuinely important times and then leaves immediately, forcing the family to one big call. Solved a lot of emergencies like this. Refuses to admit he’s intentionally being helpful.

Dimitri / Thing #2: Emojibombs the chat way too much. Unlike Spike doesn’t care about being helpful. Refuses, even.

Lefty: Couldn’t figure out a username. Posts a very formal daily report at 7am every morning, top of chat. Carl pins it.

Bud&Luc / Lovebirds: Share an account because Bud tore his phone apart for microchips. Send those random game links for free coins and beg everyone to click them. Rick rolled the chat twice.

ROBINSONS FABORITE DESSERTS?!?’c

Oh, what a fun question! ^^

Gaston - Frozen Cream Puffs. I will NOT back down on this.

Laszlo - Oreo Ice Cream. With fruit rolls ups in it. (He likes the tattoo Fruit by the Foots too).

Art - He’s big on Pumpkin Pie. He makes a pretty good one, too.

Franny - She likes blueberry donuts, unglazed. She thinks they’re heaven above.

Cornelius - Thumbprint Cookies. They’re easy, one bite so they’re clean, pretty, and they’re peanut butter!! :D

Wilbur - Neapolitan Ice Cream, five scoops and a pound of sprinkles. He’s a smart 13 year old but he’s still a 13 year old. Neapolitan is three whole ice creams in one.

Fritz - Plain pound cake. He occasionally puts glazed strawberries on it, but he enjoys the basic yet sweet flavor of the plain cake.

Petunia can’t eat, and all she deserves anyway are nails.

Tallulah - Doesn’t really like desserts, but would chose Pecan Ice Cream if she had to pick. Carl enjoys the visual appeal of a Tirimasu. Grandpa Bud - Molten Lava cake. [I ALWAYS FORGET HIM FOR HEADCANONS IM SORRY]. He puts more chocolate on top and has to eat with a spoon and sometimes a strawz

Lucille - Speaking of straw, her favorite dessert is a split between a Mango Smoothie and a Tirimasu. She eats it away from Carl so he doesn’t get sad. :)

Have Gaston and Laszlo ever startled each other by running into each other after a nightmare/night terror?

Once Gaston got scared seeing Laszlo shift up on a rafter after he had climbed up there post-nightmare, and Laszlo was a little suprised to see Gaston staring at him after a second.

They both fell back asleep on top of the rafter though (and then Gaston fell off in the morning. He was fine.) :]

Can we get some headcanons about Gaston’s night terrors and Laszlo’s nightmares? (Welcome back!)

Laszlo often forgets what his nightmares are about, all he knows is that he wakes up and he’s scared. He needs to move, needs to walk around, needs to get out. He walks around until he feels safer, and sometimes falls back asleep on high up places like support beams or ledges where he feels safer.

Gaston has nightmares he remembers well. Half of them are just random nightmares of his tricks going wrong, or his family dying. But he sometimes had nightmares about losing control of his body, and hurting people. He would have hypnopompic hallucinations where he woke up and saw this neon red light in his room, and it was the reason he went into other people’s rooms. It went away if he blinked a few times, but it always felt like it was in there.

Do you have Dor-15 future headcanons? 🥺🥺🥺

You’d better BET! These aren’t really headcanons, more of just an AU. [since I enjoy dystopia and we need more dark AUs fr].

The Robinsons were split into two groups - controlled and sentient.

The Robinsons who were at risk of ‘defying’ Dor-15s orders were kept in the zombie mode we see in the movie.

Some Robinsons were kept sentient with the ‘controlled’ ones being used as blackmail.

’Disobey and I’ll terminate them’ kinda stuff.

That was possible as well - the helping hats physically attached to one’s spinal cord and was capable of instant execution at the click of a button.

I did four characters here, lmk if you want more. (And if so, who?) :

Gaston Framagucci.

Works for Dor-15 the most reluctantly.

Became irritably and almost hyper-aggressive.

Doesnt talk a lot in fear of yelling or sounding too upset.

Keeps the other Robinsons in check.

Has the most weaponry, but despite his aggressive attitude would rather die than hurt his family.

Stays up all night trying to plan ways to get everyone out of this mess.

He uses his cannons as defenses for the house despite the lack of enemies. They definitely don’t shoot meatballs anymore.

He also uses his engineering tech to create his own weapons, as well as sabotage Dor-15s weapons to temporarily inconvenience it.

Wears a large pair of spiked metal gauntlets that give him insane slicing and strength ability, but hinder his ability to work with anything small or intricate.

He hates them, but might be terminated for refusing to wear them.

Art Framagucci.

The most compliant of the Robinsons.

Its unclear why somebody so justice filled would be so willing to work for Dor-15, but as somebody who’s seen wars on other planets, he’s the most aware of the risks of a coop.

Also doesn’t talk. At all. Has voted for pure silence.

Sent to do the most violent tasks of the group, hovering his UFO over industrial areas and making sure everyone is doing their job.

Ordered to terminate those who don’t.

Silently pretends he doesn’t notice younger people who manage to escape.

He spends a lot of time watching the controlled Robinsons, who are just mindlessly set to forever maintain the house.

Hes contemplated removing their hats a thousand times, but after what happened to Tallulah he chooses not to.

Laszlo Robinson.

Laszlo. He’s sure there. Yep.

Laszo doesn’t have a job, but he’s harmless. Objectively.

Tallulah went down fighting and eventually got terminated - one of the only two Robinsons to die.

Laszlo didn’t really object any of Dor-15 orders after that. In fact, he seemed too enthusiastic.

It scared literally everyone, and he was left alone. He spends almost all day and night in his art gallery.

Its unclear though if he’s actually crazy or simply pretending to be so to avoid being put under control.

Paints the most horrific sh!t.

Utilizes his paint gun as a flamethrower by using flammable paints, and attaching a second trigger for a lighter.

Hasn’t killed any humans - torched some frogs though.

Fritz and Petunia.

Fritz is also jobless. He was originally going to be a house slave, but Laszlo silently threatened the house with arson when the recommendation of assigning Fritz a hat came up.

Fritz hasn’t changed at all. He tries to lock himself in his room as much as possible to avoid seeing the house.

Hes a lot more jumpy around everyone. He was never super close to Art, Gaston’s hostility unnerves him, and he’s silently a bit heartbroken seeing Laszlos demeanor.

Petunia is bolted to his hand an cannot be removed.

She isn’t a puppet anymore, instead containing a microchip allowing her her own - limited - sentience.

Shes a thousand times worse to Fritz. She’s only sentient to keep Fritz scared and compliment.

She has claws now, and will scratch Fritz up when slightly upset.

Shes overall very aggressive, but otherwise the same.

Due to her being bolted to Fritz’s arm, when she moves too much it hurts him greatly.

Gaston has considered duct taping her mouth because she is ANNOYING.

What happened when Tallulah died in your Dor-15 takeover au?

Simple answer: She fought too much.

Less than simple answer:

Tallulah was one of the last to get really targeted.

Her headpieces often have straps on the bottom to prevent them from falling, so the hats had difficultly removing her headgear.

She fought to protect her dad, which is partially why he didn’t immediately get claimed either.

Eventually she stopped defending and starting attacking, getting her hands on a pipe and beginning to destroy the hats.

Laszlo, who had been flying away from the hats saw her at the end of the hall as they ran to get each other.

They didn’t reach each other.

At this point Tallulah had been deemed too much trouble, and in a very similar manner to Carl in the movie, she was clawed through her chest.

It was much worse, considering she was human.

Laszlo reclused as previously stated in other posts.

Nobody talked about Tallulah again, but sometimes in the midst of all his horrific nightmare paintings, small portraits of her could be found in Laszlos gallery, though he would never admit it.

Sry I mean how OCD effects Wilbur and Laszlo. My fault, it was vague. Since we got headcanons on Wilbur, how about Laszlo now? Cool headcanons btw

Hi! I’ve covered it briefly in a lower post, but I can recap + add some points here!

Laszlo is on a sensory side of the OCD spectrum.

He has problems with texture and exposure to air, which is why he tends to wear covering and oversized clothes, gloves and such.

He has a weighted blanket, and his jacket has some clickers in it (as well as other random items such an entire handfuls of paint because why not?)

He cannot for the life of him sit still because of his sensory issues, and almost frequently moves.

This isn’t WHY he hovers, but hovering also helps since it limits contact with solid ground.

If he has to stand on a slope he will lose his mind. :(

He draws and paints on his hands when they don’t have gloves on, so they don’t feel ‘empty’ and vulnerable to the air.

Intrusive thoughts like any person with OCD, but unlike Wilbur’s where he is irrationally convinced of the impossible, he more believes nothing to be consistent.

He had cereal for breakfast an hour ago? No, what if he actually had toast. Yeah, he had toast.

And an ending disclaimer - I am diagnosed with OCD and honestly project into Laszlo a lot. Wilbur doesn’t suffer from the same kind I do, so I can’t fully guarantee the first hand accuracy of his depiction.

OCD is a spectrum, if you have this disorder and don’t see it in the character, that’s fine! But as somebody who has it, I do.

I've been wracking my brain trying to come up with an ask... and I finally came up with the most prodigious question!

What indie musical artists do you think the Robinsons would be into? When I mean indie, I mean indie-indie. I think because the Robinsons are so weird and idiosyncratic, they'd be all for listening to artists who aren't as well known as the main faces you hear about. Listen to new sounds, you know.

I'll start! I think Cornelius would be interested in Loveless and Mothica. Maybe a bit of carolesdaughter.

(Sorry for this ask being so poetic... I guess I was channeling my inner Rarity.)

I don’t know as many indie artists as I would like, so most of the stuff I like is popular with indie sound, so I don’t know if these really match.

Franny likes Cranes Wives - it’s probably the only music of that genre she likes. She has written literal analysis sheets on the vocals. Her favorite song is Acturus Beaming.

Laszlo has that one gay person playlist - Will Wood, Lemon Demon, Mother Mother. He unironically really likes Weird Al’s “Angry White Boy Polka”.

Wilbur likes PUP - and his favorite song is ‘Bloody Mary, Kate and Ashley. He tried to show this to Cornelius who kindly rejected it.

Gaston and Art both listen to IDKHBTFM. Gaston’s favorite song is ‘Clusterhug’, Art likes ‘Razzmatazz’. (The song).

Gaston probably also listens to some edgy rage music like 1 800 Pain or something along those lines.

Art likes Time Machine and Isle Upon Thyself from Hawaii P2 but doesn’t know any other song from the album, or the story.

Not really indie at all, but Bud likes Jukebox the Ghost. His favorite song is ‘Where are All the Scientists Now?’ He doesn’t really care about the theme of the song, but he likes the tone of the vocals and the pre-chorus.

Lucille likes ‘Dream, Ivory’ and ‘Jakob’ - who ARE really good indie artists and very different vibe from everyone else here. Her favorite song from either of these two is ‘Perfect Sweet Blue’.

Joe doesn’t share his music taste, it’s like a secret. But when he sits alone at night sometimes and watches clouds, he listens to Current Joys and Foxtide. His favorite song is probably ‘Televisions’.

Billy doesn’t listen to a lot of music, she just generally isn’t interested - but she likes listening to Joes playlist. She picked up an interest in Boy Pablo eventually, but not a strong one.

Tallulah is into Mr. Bungle! I know he’s not REALLY indie but I love him and i need to project that onto somebody. Favorite songs are ‘Ars Moriendi’ and ‘The Air-Conditioned Nightmare’.

Spike and Dimitri don’t understand music.

Lefty likes Dayglow. Nobody knows that Lefty listens to music, but he found the vinyl one day in the garage and listens to it to pass time.
