COULD UNCLE OSCAR HAVE DIED AS A CHILD?? DROWNED AT THE FAMILY COTTAGE AND THATS WHY THEY DONT USE IT ANYMORE?? THATS WHY FREDS DAD PUTS ALL THIS PRESSURE ON HIM CAUSE HES THE ONLY SON HE HAS WHOS LIVED LONGER THAN 6 OR SO

WAS HE BORN BEFORE OR AFTER FRED? WAS HE YOUNGER AND FRED WAS SUPPOSED TO BE WATCHING HIM? TEACHING HIM TO SWIM? MAYBE HE STILL BLAMES HIMSELF.

OR WAS HE OLDER AND FRED HARDLY EVEN REMEMBERS HIM YET HIS PARENTS AND SISTERS WOULD ALWAYS BRING HIM UP? OSCAR BECAME THIS PRESENCE FRED COULD JUST NEVER LIVE UP TO.

Could Oscar have been a close family friend who wasn’t blood related but Archie still referred to as uncle?? If freds regretted his whole life that Oscar died before Archie ever got to meet him is that enough for him to hear Archie call him uncle Oscar in his nightmares? 😩

I refuse to believe anyone had any other friends besides our core group of Riverparents. I also refuse to believe that any Riverparents were in a different grade or had children at a different time because that’s just not how shit works in Riverdale. (except maybe Clifford. his ass was definitely older.)
