If you go home from work every day and do nothing but think about work and stress about work and complain about work, you may seriously want to consider finding a new job. For your own mental health. Especially if do not get PAID to do work after hours, to waste BRAIN POWER after hours.

I know there are some jobs that are a lot more taxing emotionally than others, but for YOURSELF don't go home and do nothing but pout and cry over the store, restaurant, office, etc. where you work because YOUR MENTAL HEALTH IS ALWAYS GOING TO BE MORE IMPORTANT.

In turn, set boundaries with your coworkers. Hell, set boundaries with your employees! Everyone loves a good bitch session and sometimes its necessary, but don't fall into the constant spiral of negativity where you're texting each other all hours of the night about work.

I spent my previous lifetime in a salaried manager position at a pharmacy and was on call 24/7. Nights, weekends, when the security system would trip at 2am. It sucked! I made the hard decision to leave and it was the best choice I made. Now I work in a bs office where I clock out at 6pm and I DO NOT THINK ABOUT WORK UNTIL 9AM THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY. Until everyone at work texts me the moment I get home to complain. And I have to pull myself from the group chat..
