How'd ya develop a story for your comic?

With the little comics it always kinda starts with an ending I like, if that makes sense. I know exactly where I want it to go and it usually follows the beats of a fairy tale, which makes it easy to build back from there.

For Granted? Man idk, it’s a story I began writing to my sister by email years ago when we both had different math classes at the same time, and I started drawing it to learn photoshop bc the characters had bright colors. And since then it’s kinda turned from practice into this whole thing I actually have a lot of emotions about???? I know where it’s ultimately going, and things follow that rough framework, but a lot of it is off the cuff based on what I think would be fun to draw. It’s not planned out scene by scene to the end.

Saffron and Snout could either be good friends or hate each other with every piece of their being.

I feel like snout would try and antagonize saffron and he’s just so muted and dead inside that he’s like “ok, this is fun but like are you going to eat the stew i made or not”
