Thinking about The Incredibles movies and how it would be really cool if “supers had glory days, then went into hiding, then became more accepted” was something of a metaphor for LGBTQ+ people.
I mention it because I have a sona named Unconvention who’s a trans guy, and I’m picturing him in the context of being a new super who uses modern opinions on his kind to his advantage (Unconvention would be his hero name, obvs).
Even better, he’s a psychic super with hypnotic powers, and I wonder how civilians in that world would take that, given what happened with Screenslaver.
This is him as a normal guy; BTW; the staff is his main calling card but he uses it in public.
