Got Upcrate package today, 1st time ever I will be trying traditional (in10 years), I'm rusty as hell XD but it's good idea how to make off screen time interesting One note so far, I like the colors we got but would be really cool to also have blender to try it out. "speechless, shocked" That was what I was feeling when first hearing the news almost four weeks ago. I opened my @upcrate box on that day and read the in the bottle post that the featured artist of this box, @neimykanani, takes inspiration from nightmare stories and games. Thereupon this scene grew in my mind and the sketch was immediately put down on paper. However it took me weeks to finish my heaviest piece so far. In general I finish my paintings in one ore two sessions. However this time I had to take a lot of breaks to do some happy painting in between. I also struggled a bit with the new medium of #acrylicgouache and the symbolic details I wanted to put in. 🇩🇪 Von der Natur inspiriert - eine Bergsee Landschaft 🗻 Die Oktober @upcrate Box war wieder sehr interessant. Die Liquid Pencil Tuben von @derivanmatisse hatte ich schon, aber sie sind einfach großartig und es ist immer gut Ersatz zu haben😉. Außerdem kann man sie super zusammen mit den @lyra_feelcreative Aquarelle Wachsstiften benutzen. I already have the liquid pencil tubes from another subscription box, but it's always great to have extras. '#unexpectedfriends' The first testing with this month's @upcrate supplies. I really like to work with a #dippen and #ink, so this box came really up my alley. More so because I wanted to try the @rohrerundklingner_official since I saw what amazing things @heikala does with these. They are really nice to work with. The @speedball_art nibs are also great and came in a variety I didn't have. For my first testing piece I choose @tomandjerry who accompanied me with other #cartooncharacters through my childhood. The november @upcrate box arrived. It's #calligraphy themed. I need to practice it more. It was fun to test the pens from @fabercastelldeutschland and @artline_eu. They work great on the paper from @artspaze.art. This month @upcrate box came today and I really like it. #inktober is almost over, but you can't have enough good pens for your linework. I never tried the @rotringofficial Tikky Graphic pens, but I love their rapidographs and isographs. I hope the Tikky pens are as good as them. It was a nice surprise, that we got one of the new @leuchtturm1917 #sketchbooks. I really like their planners and the first touch of the paper was great. As I already saw some of the #unboxing, I really hoped to get a colorful one as all my others are black, but unfortunately it's black again. 😞 The artwork is great. I really like the work of @r.os_art and I'm already following him for a while. His style is awesome. I hope to create something as well. The new magazine is also nice. There is so much information about the supplies, their brands and other things in it. Nice. I also found a little mistake in it. Totay I opened this month @upcrate box, I picked up from the post office on Tuesday. For some inexplicable reasons they didn't put in my mailbox like the last ones. This time there are some nice #acrylics from @sennelier1887 inside. The colours seem nice. They gave us also two wooden board from @woodcardz.
