Why thank you! Mi mammy bought it maaany many years ago, and somehow it still fits… I think it must have been pretty big. Capes are absolutely the best, I’d love to have a velvety dark red or moss-green one. xxx
under-the-appletree said: you should write more nathalie! your writing is beautiful and write about anything you please: writing about yourself isn’t self-centered at all, you’re talented and you should share that!!! xxxxx
Ah thank you muchly my dear Matilda, you are ever so kind! It’s funny, I very much enjoy reading what other people write, but I feel other people will get terribly annoyed if I do the same :’). I don’t do very much at all, so there are not many exciting things to write, but when I do, I might, I might… xxxx

1. If you could have one selfish wish, what would it be?
If I were healthy physically and mentally, that would just about change everything… Each day would have a purpose, and life wouldn’t revolve around ‘I’m not able to do this or that’. I’d be physically able to do my work and read and draw and be properly awake for the whole day, and emotionally I’d feel much better about myself, I’d be able to work effectively, spend time writing, developing my drawing, reading and seeing my friends, and learning lots about wildlife and conservation… And if I were, then, physically able -and- able time-wise to do things, I could get a part-time job at a zoo or something, or dog-sit, and then I’d go on conservation trips and stuff. So I guess my wish is to not be ill, physically or mentally, and that would basically change my life completely. And it would also make things a hell of a lot easier for my family. So, yes, I’ll have one of those please.
2. What is your biggest fear?
Virtually everything frightens me in some way or another, but if I were to choose… I suppose, I’m really afraid that I’m actually really horrible and selfish and immoral and when I try to be good it’s only so people will think well of me. And one thing I hate virtually more than anything is the thought that people I love may be suffering terribly and I don’t know, and I can’t make everything better. Oh, and I’m terrified of just getting worse and worse and just end up decaying and dissolving into nothing. Picking out one biggest fear was rather impossible, sorry :’)…
3. Who is your favourite fictional character from literature?
I really love the character of Maggie Tulliver (The Mill on The Floss) even though I haven’t finished the book, also Scout Finch (To Kill a Mockingbird)… I spend most of my time thinking about reading and very little actually reading, so I am sure there will be many other characters to discover and fall in love with…
4. Tea or Coffee?
Tea, definitely tea. Although chocolatey coffee is delightful.
5. If you could, would you choose to be immortal?
I would choose to be immortal if I weren’t 'human’. I don’t like the idea of not existing at all, mostly because I want to see what happens, so I’d like to be a spirit, floating around the world, observing what’s going on, trying to help people in some way, sleeping with foxes and making friends with children…
6. What fictional world would you choose to live in if you could?
Um… All of them? The problem with the most wonderful, though, are the villains and scary things, see… Wonderland is perfect, theoretically, except the lack of control of oneself and one’s surroundings rings anxiety-alarm-bells for me :’)… Somewhere where I am a child forever, and I have other child-friends and faerie-friends and we just run around climbing trees and flying and having adventures.
7. What are you planning on doing today/what did you do today?
Oh, it’s all been terribly exciting… I got up, had food, stared at the computer screen, had my vitamins and supplements &c., had some painkillers, did a sauna-detox thing, that made me feel ill, had food, and now I’m staring at the computer screen again! (Also insert 'lie on floor for a while’ basically everywhere in previous sentence.) See, my plans are always -much- better: I am going to make myself a cup of tea, do my Geography, read some Oliver Twist or The Mill on the Floss, then go to bed. I mean, that was my plan when I got up this morning too and it’s now the evening, but shhh
8. What do you want right this second?
To be sitting on a mountain in the Lake District, with a pile of books and paper to draw on, looking out to the sparkling dark lakes and never-ending lavender-crested hilltops.
9. If you could be one person for the day, who would it be?
Maybe Maude, from the film 'Harold and Maude’? Yes, I think I’d quite like that. In terms of real people - perhaps one of Rachel Sermanni’s band members, that would be fun, ah…
10. What do you want to change in the world around you?
Just the old Equality Thing, really. Destroy corruption, distribute wealth, improve healthcare and ensure resources are used sustainably. Improve education systems and place more value on the arts. Make sure everyone regardless of ability or income has a house and food and time to do things they enjoy. Reduce ignorance and prejudice about things like mental illness, disabilities, injustice, homophobia, sexism, racism etc. That sort of thing. 11. What’s your favourite book and why?
Ah, I don’t read nearly as much as I would like to! I really do love The Book Thief… Haven’t read it in a while, so trying to think back isn’t too easy, but I love that it’s such a different take on the war, on the people. It just seems, to me, very original. And it wasn’t as depressing as it might be. It is strangely lovely and comforting to read, it almost feels like a second home… But there are so many books I love, and so many more to read!

Where did you vanish to my dear? I miss your beautiful posts my lovely! xoxo
Aww, you lovely human you, that's so kind of you to say! I have been taken - I must whisper, lest they hear me - by the sylphs, to the land of Enua, where they hold me captive in a trance-like state by their enchanting tunes until the exams are over (I am trapped here, indeed, but secretly I am not entirely against it, for here, I can hide from those dark, looming exam goblins)...
I am afraid I have been terribly busy with revision &c., my dear, but I will soon be returning to Tumbledor once more. Also, I must say to Hannah, Georgia, Matilda and the two other lovely anons, I am terribly sorry for not replying to you yet - I'm not ignoring you and I haven't forgotten about you! I will reply soon, I promise (the sylphs have promised to release me once the exams are over, or maybe even after the Geography exam tomorrow). But now I must away, afore they spot me communicating with humanity... Thank you, m'lovely! xxxx
