Beautifully deep and hypnotic heater from Detroit's Mad Mike Banks of the Underground Resistance collective. One to play in the 'quiet' part of a techno set as it pierces the soul more than the body. Massive early 90s classic that's aged like fine wine; majestic. First released in '93, and then appeared on Frenchman Laurent Garnier's exquisite X-Mix-2 - Destination Planet Dream the following year for German label !k7 too. I think Laurent personally loved this one so much that he utilized those wavy and lo-fi, stringy organ pads for his own tune in '94 as well: the terrific "Astral Dreams (Headphones Mix)"—another deep techno ripper.
