Icarus, the tube train, flies from a roof top above Shoreditch
It's easy to take the London Underground for granted but is there anything like standing on the platform waiting for the train to arrive? Everybody looking into the dingy tunnel for the first sign of the bright lights on the concrete wall... When the train finally comes it’s accompanied by a loud roar and a quick blast of wind as it pushes the air along with it. Then you hear the clacking and screeching of wheels as it speeds past your face at a surprising pace until it finally comes to an abrupt halt further up the line. The doors pause for a few seconds and then whoooosh - it’s open! - and everyone piles on.
Grand Army Plaza Train Station ( #2 Train )
Grand Army Plaza is a local station on the IRT Eastern Parkway Line of the New York City Subway. It is located in Park Slope, Brooklyn, underneath Flatbush Avenue at its intersection with Plaza Street West and St. Johns Place, on the northwest side of Grand Army Plaza. It is served by the 2 train at all times, the 3 train at all times except late nights, and the 4 train during late nights.
Both uptown and downtown 2,3 trains are on the same platform but on opposite sides so it is easy to transfer if you are going in the wrong direction.

Some chumps from Extinction Rebellion climbed on top of an underground train to show off. They were dragged down and assaulted by rightfully angry passengers, who have enough to put up with from living in London.
The Extinction Rebels were lucky. I would not have mourned them if they had been left as red stains on the platform.
