Smplive seriously affected me heavily this year. I’ve been around since almost the beginning. Watching Wilbur grow from 60 viewers to 4000? Seeing minecraft grow from something “weird” or “cringey” to something mainstream again? Making so many new friends? Smplive ending may seem sad, and in a lot of ways it is. But all good things must come to an end. I feel as if smplive lasted any longer it would have become very stale. We were so lucky to have all these great content creators come together to make something beautiful.

If you’re sad that it’s over, don’t worry though. These streamers will keep streaming.We have SMPEarth, SMPClassic, and maybe more. Goop will release irl content soon, Wilbur is making great videos on his channel, everyone will keep streaming (whether it’s minecraft or some other game).

The community that has come to surround this stupid minecraft server that started off as 12 idiots screaming at eachother has become so much more. I love SMPlive. And I will continue to love everything that Goop/fart club (gross), fruit club, and everyone else from the server makes.
