Equal - Are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?

○ sakyo tends to be more dominant in the relationship just because his personality naturally makes him come off like that. he’s not really controlling per say - he just doesn’t bend easily to other people’s feelings and is generally not someone you wanna fuck with

○ however, he isn’t completely immune to age old tactics like puppy dog eyes. you’ll have to be sparring with your usage of them or else they won’t do anything to him anymore, but if you really really want something and sakyo won’t budge, breaking out the eyes will most likely get him to heed to your desires

Fight - Would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting?

○ given his job, sakyo’s seen it all. betrayal, traitors, cheating, but it always hurts somewhere different when someone dies before they can apologize or try to make up for past sins. you’re not in nearly as much danger as he is on a day-to-day basis but he still lives in fear that something will happen to one of you after a fight, and that you’ll die thinking the other didn’t love you

○ this means you guys won’t even leave the room after a fight before an apology is issued. sakyo has an iron will and can be stubborn if he wants to, but if you’re really upset and want nothing more than to get away from him, he’ll say he’s sorry even if he doesn’t wholly believe he was in the wrong. he doesn’t want there to ever be a moment where you question his love for you

○ as for the fights themselves, the cause is never really consistent. sakyo deems himself too old to fight over childish things so it’s not often you two go at it in the first place. if anything, most of your “fighting” is you teasing him and him not being able to take it without getting embarrassed

Wild Card - A random Fluff Headcanon.

○ he acts like sakoda is annoying as all hell, but he considered the three of you to be a tight knit family. of course he values the members of mankai more than you could imagine, but it’s different with you and sakoda. once he stops being a chicken and proposes to you, he plans to ask sakoda to be his best man right after

Sakyo does occasionally get flirtatious, but he’s always quick to pass it off as teasing, grinning at the way it’s so easy to make you blush. He’s not going to make any overt moves, although over time, it becomes increasingly obvious that he’s completely enamored.

You’ll have to be the one taking the initiative. One evening, after the younger members of Mankai have settled in to sleep, you drag Sakyo out of his room to watch a movie with you. He grumbles about needing proper amounts of sleep, and don’t you complain if you’re lethargic in the morning, but he doesn’t put up an actual fight. He takes his favorite spot on the couch, waiting for you to join him after popping the movie in— he’d expected you to sit maybe an arm’s length away, but no, you press yourself right up against his side.

He’s frozen for a moment, his arm on the back of the couch, his eyes locked onto your face as he processes the situation; you can see him staring from the corner of your eye, but maybe if you don’t look at him, things won’t get any more awkward. Finally, he moves; he settles his hand on your shoulder first, then begins slowly tracing it up and down your arm, shifting closer to you, awkwardly clearing his throat. He’s been given this chance— he doesn’t want to waste it.

Once he begins responding like that, you can practically do what you want with him; Sakyo doesn’t have a lot of experience with this kind of intimacy, and he doesn’t want to scare you off, so he’ll just follow your lead. At some point you’ll rest your hand between his thighs, leaning your head against his chest, and his hand moves down to your hips; eventually, as the two of you get sleepier and sleepier, he’ll end up sprawled across the couch, you dozing off on top of him. Man, when Banri walks in on y’all in the morning, you’ll never hear the end of it—

The noise of the party rises and falls around him as he drifts through the crowd.  There are a lot of people here tonight but Daichi only has eyes for one of them.  The person in question leans against the wall on the other side of the room.  His head is thrown back with a laugh and the stethoscope around his neck shines brightly.  His white doctor’s coat practically glows among the other costumes surrounding him, pulling Daichi in like a beacon.

He just can’t stop watching.

The way the man stands, the way he laughs, the way his eyes crinkle in amusement when someone tells a joke.  The way he tilts his head to hear someone better.  The way he slips away from his friends and through the crowd to the bar.  The way he leans against the bar and flirts with the bartender.

The way the bartender laughs and scribbles something onto the napkin they slide over with his drink.

Daichi narrows his eyes at that but he doesn’t do anything, doesn’t say anything.  He just makes a mental note and keeps watching.

The man doesn’t go back to his friends on the other side of the room.  He turns and leans against the bar to look out over the crowd.  His gaze passes Daichi without pausing.  But that’s okay.  Daichi’s not here tonight to be seen.  He’s here to watch.  Just to watch.

So he does.

He watches people talk to the man, watches the way they’re drawn to him and crash upon themselves like waves against the beach in their scramble to hold his attention.  He watches the way he touches their shoulders, their arms, their hands.  Watches the twist of the man’s lips and he spins his web of lies.  Watches the way the people he talks to stumble right into his traps.

Daichi tires of the party long before the man does but he stays and watches anyway.

Watches as the man laughs and waves away something one of the swarming gnats says to him and heads for the door.

Daichi is only a few steps behind him but even when the man glances over his shoulder he doesn’t notice Daichi.  Doesn’t notice as Daichi slips out of the door behind him.  Doesn’t notice the shadow slinking through the alley behind him.

Daichi was only here to watch but when the man stops in the middle of the alley and stares up at the sky, defenseless and completely unaware, he can’t help himself.

He can always find someone else to watch.

He always does.

Yearning - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?

○ taichi is too scared to leave his dorm room, banri and juza are acting like best friends, omi becomes a living sweat machine every time sakyo enters a room. practice feels more like purgatory and if one wrong move is made, it’s straight to hell with whoever ticked sakyo off

○ if you ask sakyo himself, he’ll say he’s fine - getting upset at you leaving? ridiculous! 

○ he’s a gigantic fucking liar. every minute he spends thinking about when you’re gonna come back. he doesn’t voice it verbally but it’s pretty obvious if you consider how he’s been acting

○ the second you come back, he’ll deny that he missed you at all, but the grateful looks from the rest of the autumn troupe say otherwise
