They did. God damn did they try for me. And god damn did they deserve the world in my eyes, they still do.

Of course it was complex, we experienced emotions and thus relationships all very differently.

My problem with headcanons and "ohhh but this thing is canon" is still there. I dont mind headcanons or correcting fandom mistakes or whatever, i just need to teach myself to separate "a fan makeing headcanons" and "whats true to a past life" in my mind.
