im fighting Undyne and i don't want to kill her. is sparing her over and over the right thing to do?

Ok so this was meant to be short but it became long so bear with me.

(I’m also aware some stuff simmilar to this already exsists, but let me have my fun.)

I’ve always like the random fandom idea that Sans raised Pap from like 7, but where’s the humanAU/whatever where Sans constant,y has child services on crawling up his spine, and it took him way to long to gain legal custody of Pap. Kinda a Lilo and Nani situation. And afterwards Sans needs money to you know, survive. Bc now he needs to pay rent and stuff. So he works like 4 jobs just to pay enough, but it’s really taxing on his health and when he gets home he’s really tired and just wants sleep all the time. The thing is, Sans won’t admit to Papyrus that he’s working a bunch of jobs,(and that it was really tiring him out) bc Papyrus would get all sad and try to convince him to stop working all these jobs for his health, but Sans needs to work these jobs for money. So Sans never told Pap about it, and when Pap gets home from school, other escapades, or just is home, he’s always around when Sans is really worn out. Papyrus thinks it’s because he’s lazy, and Sans won’t tell him otherwise.

You know what screw it

Same Au/place, this all takes place in a city. Asgore has been mayor since forever bc he’s good at his job and no one wants mayoral duties. If they do they always loose to him anyway. He and Toriel had Asriel and adopted Chara, but around they’re (idk teen years?) Chara died, probably from suicide but in a way where it wouldn’t be seen as one normally. A few days after, Asriel ran away. There was lots and lots of evidence that he died. (But this boi not dead) he stayed with Alphys for a little bit, using a fake name and changing how he looked a lot. He grew suspicious that Alphys was figuring out who he was, so he ran away from her again. From living on the streets, the constant loneliness, hiding, and lying, slowly drove him insane. To a point where he can act somewhat normal around other people, but when he’s alone or really angry he just goes nuts. He has a pretty good house and is ok on money, but he snapped long ago and is planning to kill everyone he’s ever known.

Toriel And Asgore split up after everyone was sure Asriel had died, both of them keep trying to adopt, but because of the incident neither of them are really trusted with children.

Undyne would 100% be the Sheriff/Chief of police (side note: my auto check is ignorant and red-underlined Undyne.) Poor girl works in a big city, so she has to deal with really dark bull crap, that never really has a happy ending. The only joy in her life is Alphys and hanging out with Papyrus. She “trains” Papyrus because he’s always wanted to police, but Pap is like 19 and has zero training so everyone knows it’s never gonna happen, but no ones going to tell him that. Also Undyne is basically Paps babysitter when Sans wants sleep or is busy.

Honestly I’m drawing a blank when it comes to Alphys, I know she has to be close to Asgore, but in a way where she would be doing SOME sort of shady science. Idk what the science would be, why, or how. I’m also kindof drawing a similar blank with Mettaton. He’s definitely a movie star, and a friend of Alphys. But I still don’t really know.

(Forwarding, I’m not trained with using they as a pronoun, so if I accidentally call Frisk “he”it’s by accident bc I am untrained.)

Ok you know what. What if Frisk has an Annie vendetta. Like they’re trying to find parents that gave them up, AND WILL STOP FOR NO ONE. Toriel finally gets to foster Frisk, and by some means Frisk ends up running away bc Toriel won’t let him leave. (Frisk is unaware of the psychological damage this could do to poor Toriel.) (they are aware however that people will be looking for them)

Than they run into Sans and Pap, Pap thinks if he (captures) Frisk, this infamous missing child, that Undyne will let him be police or legit train him (though again it’s never going to happen. Pap doesn’t really know how the world works) Sans knows Tori from the internet. They go and pun troll random people. Just thought y’all should know.

Of course Frisk befriends Pap (and depending on the age gap between Pap and Frisk, the dating thing will be interesting)

Than Undyne starts catching up with them. By the end of the Undyne battle in the OG game you befriend her by saving her. In this she’s surprised by you saving her from some sort of peril because you could have left her there to die and gotten away with running away, and she could have full blown taken them, but they wouldn’t leave her behind. I hope I got my point across they’re. Of course later you get the cooking lesson with her and Pap still jumps out the window, that will never change.

Then something happened with Alphys and Mettaton idk there.

I’m not to sure what will happen with Asgore, I’m just kind-of thinking he just wants to adopt you. Than Toriel bursts in like, “ankle they mine” Than Undyne goes in like “Nope I’m taking them” and somehow Pap runs in like “STOP FIGHTING WE CAN ALL ADOPT FRISK” not surprisingly the only one who doesn’t want to adopt Frisk is Sans, bc he has enough to deal with right now.

The ending is still left to explanation I have no idea but it ends with Asriel getting himself a therapist.

You know what this was meant to be a short thing but screw it this is my own little treasure.

Dear anyone who is having a hard time fighting Undyne during Undertales Genocide Route,

I’ve been there. It sucked major dong, but here are some tips to help git gud:

- Make sure you have the best weapon in the game that you can get so far. I think this is pretty self explanatory. I’m pretty sure the best weapon is the used ballet shoes, but I may be wrong?? someone correct me if I am.

- Use the clouded glasses. You may be like: “Oh, why use this if it lowers my defense? It’s counter intuitive!” NO. It’s not, I swear. It gives you a couple more frames of invincibility (which means during the slow green mode arrows, you don’t get bombarded as quickly and gives you more time to block.)

- MEMORIZE. Seriously, this is the biggest tip that everyone should know. The green mode arrows are always in the same pattern, so if you play this enough there should be no excuse to why you’re missing the stupid arrows. 

- Hit Hard. What I mean by that is try to reduce as much of her health in the first couple easy peasy attacks, rather than healing up the whole time.

- Only heal when you know an attack you’re terrible at is coming up next. Don’t waste your items on flimsy attacks.

- I have no advice for the red mode spears?? I just kinda flopped around and get hit most of the time but whatever...

AND BIGGEST TIP OUT OF THEM ALL:

- PRACTICE! Don’t get discouraged if you can’t do that no hit undyne fight you saw on YouTube the other day. It will take a long time (I’ve heard some people have spent up to 8 hours trying to kill her)
