Some of my favorite shots from my mage playthrough of Dragon Age: Veilguard
I guess I forgot to post this in 2024 when it was completed, but better late than never! These are all the delightful children (+ one old man) of the Undreadful comic. From left to right, Everett Mallus (40s?), Christine Lorens (13), Alexandra Abbott (14), Sammy Book (14), Jarrah Nader (9), and Wren Withers (10)
It's getting cold enough for hot drinks! Here's my ocs, Wren and Jarrah, enjoying hot cocoa and a crackling fire
Mostly an excuse to draw clouds. That's Sammy in the distance riding a dragon
I've worked on this piece on and off since like 2021. I can't even remember where the idea came from honestly! It's definitely a change from my usual rendering style. I think of it now as trying to capture the feeling of going out for recess on a hot day near the end of the school year.
As far as this actual character and the reason for the eye glow - this is Christine Lorens from a comic called Undreadful that I hope to write one day. She has supernatural powers, thus the glowing eye. Right now I'm running with the idea that the characters' eyes glow when their powers are "on" or in use, but I'm also playing with the idea that they always glow a little bit in the dark.
The last of my main ocs, Wren Withers, a 10-year-old with clairvoyance-based abilities. She was already designed and redesigned before I ever got around to posting any art of her!
Reviving this blog to post some art! Going to try to post more often, even if it’s just half-finished ideas and sketches.
