“Ah!” she gasped, waking up from that same nightmare again. Seeing villages burning down, children screaming… It still haunted her from time to time even though they were safe in the past.
Thinking that a walk and a nice wash of her face could do her some good, she got up and started to walk away from the camp… until she heard a familiar voice.
“Can’t I go out for a walk? It’s none of your business where I go.” she huffed, almost… glad that Lucina was worried about her like this.
The redhead glanced up then looked away from her, unsure of what to really do. “…why are you up anyways? Don’t you need to get some sleep?” Yeah, great conversation starter Severa.
There was something about chastising Severa for being awake at this hour while she was also awake, but sleep was hard for Lucina. Not all the time, but nightmares always laid on the edges of her sleep. Nightmares of very real events. Still, she didn’t think it was a good idea for Severa to be leaving camp, no matter why she was awake.
“It might not be my business, but you shouldn’t go wandering away from camp in the middle of the night. What if something happened?” Things were safer here, relatively, but that didn’t mean it was free of danger.
Lucina turned away for a moment, thinking over a response. “I couldn’t sleep. I... If you’re going to leave the camp at least let me go with you. That way if something happens, you won’t be alone.”
