uni applications came back today and I GOT INTO MY PROGRAM YAYYYYY

I have started writing two books that are now well over the 10000 word mark. I have recently started a third book that is currently just under 200 words. I love writing, getting to know my characters, their motivations, what they want, and how they are going to get it.

but the SECOND I HAVE TO WRITE MY PERSONAL STATEMENT I FORGET HOW WORDS WORK

Tw: a lot of pointless talking and self pity or whatever

Aghhh I’m taking IELTS on July 4th and I’m scared for my life 🥹

The main problem is that my English level is B2 (5.5-6.5) and my application (uni) requirement is 6.5 at least with no less than 5.5 in each section

I’ve already taken a mock exam (somehow managed to get 7.0 overall, and I hate how it had easy listening that I scored 8.0 in, despite usually getting 7 at most)

I also have no idea what to do with part 1 writing, it just always comes out awful 🥹 (I mean you can’t expect me to write something like that in my native language omg)

Social media makes it no better cuz I keep seeing people who scored an 8 on mock and got 5.5 on real one and that makes me question my score even more

Anddd as a cherry on top, my family still expects me to have at least 8, just because in their opinion my English is “good” (that “good” level is something I have since B1 and damn they are so overestimating me)

Ugh I hate it all so much
