It’s so funny to me when objectively bad professors beg students to fill out a google forms about how they did that semester. And it’s always like “pls fill it outttt. 10 out of 110 of you did ittt and i need likeeee 55…. Plsssss”. Like you should have thought of that earlier mister. I’m gonna fill it out but write in the weird shit you said like asking if people from the capital know what a watermelon is.
Okay I have TWO MORE assessments to go and then I can FINALLLY go back to drawing and writing.
I have so many wips sitting in the closet begging to be let out. We love the uni student struggle amen 🙏
Personal post/ uni rant:
For this first time since I started researching my families history I finally found my mom last name on a British ship record leaving India to the Caribbean in the 1800s. They may be related to my family I don’t have much information to confirm. It also has the sugar plantation’s name they were sent to and their supposed location of origin in India, which we have never really know. But I’ll just use what I know. Also I found a way to contact one of archives for the county and they’ll send info they have as long as I give them my grandparents name. So hopefully it’ll help.
I am now emotional. I still haven’t found my dad’s last name yet but I’m not giving up!
But I’m going to use all of this research for a final paper about the effects of Indian diaspora in the West Indies for my Caribbean history course.
