Let's brighten things up on this wet and dreary Sunday! I have never bought a dragonfruit before and can honestly say I do not think I have ever tried one either. I have always been enamored by this cactus fruit's beautiful magenta skin and the bright white flesh on the inside that contrasted with the jet black seeds. I am not sure how long they should ripen, but when I cut into it was juicy and lightly sweet. However, if anyone has some dragonfruit expertise, I would definitely be open to knowing the proper time to allow them to ripen. I am not sure the next time I will be buying one, but it was fun to use it as a prop in this shoot that I did for @unicornsnot's upcoming new product, Lightening Drops, and possibly use the fruit in some kind of dessert or breakfast recipe. Pixie was my favorite of the three colors I got to try during this collaboration because...well...PINK! I used it as part of the highlight on my lip and what a POP!
