can someone help me understand what the fuck apple means when they say the new iMac comes with "unified memory" that is equivalent to double its capacity in normal RAM terms? how can you make 16 GB of RAM out of 8 GB and then say its just "unified"?
to me it just sounds like some random bullshit apple decided to say to make their customers buy their stuff. i mean the fact that the new iMac cant even have max 16 GB of unified memory and 32 GB of normal RAM blows my mind. what computer runs on 16 GB of RAM anyway anymore?
