This was an amazing cemetery. I love the old slate headstones. Pictures 6 and 7 show how someone took one of the old stone and tried to save it by imbedding it in a cut out, in a new stone. I found some of the broken pieces, (note how you can see the light through the carved 5) on the ground. Some of the stones are in German and have interpretation at their base. See pics 4 and 5.

Tri osobe povrijeđene su u saobraćajnoj nezgodi koja se danas, oko 17:30 sati, dogodila na Union Bridge-u u Podgorici, potvrđeno je CdM-u iz OKC-a Uprave policije. Kako su naveli iz policije za taj portal, u nezgodi su učestvovala dva putnička motorna vozila. Prema nezvaničnim informacijama, dvoje povrijeđenih su maloljetnici. Izvor: CdM

Pipe Creek Friends Meetinghouse is a historic Friends meeting house located at Union Bridge, Carroll County, Maryland, United States. It is a 1 1⁄2-story brick structure in Flemish bond on a stone foundation. The meetinghouse was begun in 1771 and completed the next year. A fire in October 1934 destroyed the interior, but the original benches were saved. The founders of the meetinghouse were immigrants from the north of Ireland. It was the Quaker meetinghouse attended by a great-grandfather of President Herbert Hoover.
The vultures hang around in this area, due to the air currents around the Union Bridge Lehigh Portland Cement Company.
The Quakers still meet here on a regular basis.
