I WAS SO FUCKING SAD. Voyager is kind of a mess when it comes to getting rid of characters.
Kes just flew off (only to return to try and destroy them all), and now they’ve dumped Neelix. It seems there should have been much better ways to deal with them.

…. yeah. the further you get in ds9, the more you’re like “WHAT HAPPENED TO THE FUNNY NERDS?!?!”
Everyone used to be so much happier. (Okay, maybe not everyone. Kira was angrier and Odo lonelier. But there was hope for the future.) Now people are dying left and right, they’re in the middle of a horribly bloody war, and morale is very low. And sometimes I just want to see them all as excited as they used to be.

1) I saw a snake today.
2) I HATE wind.
3) I completely missed Paul Darrow’s birthday yesterday because I was away for the weekend and I didn’t rememeber to prepare anything and put it in the queue. I’m sorry Paul. I failed you.
4) I used to love driving, but something happened, I don’t really know, and now I get so scared when I’m driving fast... I have to slow down and take deep breaths and just somehow stop myself from panicking completely and losing control. It’s horrible. I hope it passes.
5) Did I mention that I saw a snake today??

No success, I’m afraid. :/ Since nothing seems to get through either ear, maybe it’s just too messed up for quick fixes like these to work. Thanks for the advice though!

At this point they seem to have pronunciation mostly figured out, but occasionally there are still slip ups. (Most recently that I remember is marquis for Maquis a few episodes ago, although that could've just been accent.)

watching shows after watching the people you follow blog about them... oh tumblr.
Before starting, I knew who basically all the main characters of DS9 were by name and some by look, but what they looked like or how they sounded or even how to pronounce their names was often a mystery. (Elim, Weyoun, and Bajor gave particular trouble in trying to pronounce before I heard them spoken.)
