Today we feature Glen from Wyoming, USA! _________________ I've never watched Prince perform live or have I ever been to Paisley Park. But because of my father, I have been a purple hippie ever since I can remember. Prince means so much to me in so many ways. He taught me perseverance, how to be free, and stand up for what I believe in. To love myself, others and most importantly God. Standing at 5'5" (with my boots on) being a minority, and having a rough childhood as well, I feel a very deep connection to Mr. Nelson. Prince showed me that "I Rock Therefore, I Am!" and "Don't let nobody bring you down." Thank you Prince for letting me be a part of your family, showing your love for us and your amazing music that has not only changed my life (and still does) but all those around the world as well.
