UWS USA Introduction. Empty classrooms are not just a U.S. problem. Today, more than 80% of children in developing countries have reduced access to schools and formal instruction due to the pandemic. But that hasn’t stopped us. United World Schools is working tirelessly to ensure students across each of our 100+ schools has access to continued education, health resources, and home support during this unprecedented time. Thanks to our generous global donors, we have added additional resources to provide community training and support in villages that often have no other access to vital services. Together, UWS is not only teaching the unreached despite the pandemic, we’re ensuring our communities are safer, healthier, and more prepared to thrive during and following this once-in-a-century catastrophe. But we know that our road back to normal will be long - and that our increased community investments will be needed for months - likely years to come. The U.S. is vital to our long-term efforts and we need every supporter we can to help us secure the future of our schools and communities. To help remote communities, we must come together as a global community and make sure nobody is left behind. Get to know our amazing team and join us in our mission - now more than ever, our students need your help. https://www.unitedworldschools.org/usa
