Sorry not done laughing at this to cope, but like Disney is currently joining forces with several other companies to basically destroy the film and TV industry as we know it over unions nicely asking for like 0.001% of their profits, and this guy saw THAT climate and went "oh yeah I can totally force them to pay my company 14% of their video game profits, surely this will end well for me" like I am seriously starting to believe this HAS to be some golden parachute insider trading shit bcs the only way I can think of beating this "ruin your company" speedrun involves killing an employee live on camera.

when a company offers a "compromise", look at it like that's what they were implementing in the first place.

chances are, the company is trojan horsing its userbase - giving them a shit deal and then presenting them with a better one when the backlash starts to come in. The deal will be better, but NOT good. do not fall for this tactic

I've tried godot for like the first time today (i dont count the time i installed it and got frustrated and uninstalled it) its pretty similar to unity's component system which is nice!! Im going to work on a small platformer and maybe something else and ill let you know what i think
