Kyanna sighed and turned away from the ice cream stand, feeling disappointed and defeated. She’d been itching to try a Casteliacone ever since she arrived in Unova, but it just wasn’t in the cards for her that day, apparently. Not that there was a lot she could even do about it aside from wait until the next day and maybe not be late getting there this time.
"Sorry Baby,” she apologized to the Mimikyu perched on her shoulder.
“I heard they were a lot easier to get these days than they were a few years ago.. but I guess we just got really unlucky.”
With that plan gone down the drain, Kyanna started to push her bike back up the crowded city street until she reached the central plaza. There, she paused for a moment beside the fountain to take in her surroundings. The leaves on the trees were all colored hues of orange and yellow, a sight she had never laid eyes on in person before traveling to Unova. There was nothing back in Alola like it, and to her it was magical in a weird sort of way. The cooler weather was nice too, even if it meant she had to cover up a little more than usual, it sure beat drowning in her own sweat.
As much as she wouldn’t mind hanging around there all day, she was still hungry and wanted to find somewhere to sit down and get something to eat. She didn’t really know where to start looking, so she just chose the next street over from the one she’d just come from, figuring she’d just go by process of elimination until she found somewhere.
It was more like an alley than a proper street, but it was her kind of scene that suited an ex-Skull like her, and lucky enough there was even a little cafe down there too. She wasted no time in parking her bike outside and heading on in, spotting an empty seat at the counter next to another girl and going for it right away.
“Yo, is this seat taken? Baby and I can find somewhere else if it is, no big deal.”
Send me “Hey little one” to see my muse as a child react to meeting yours.
Grey eyes blinked as they looked up at the brunette. Pulling down the black hat over his face, he mumbled some things into it before hearing the prompt for him to uncover his face and speak up. Giving a whine in protest, he pulled the hat up to show his mouth, “I-it’s nice to me-meet you ma’am.”
