Nimbasa City: The Shining city where lightning sparkles.

Mei usually comes to Nimbasa when she wants to visit Elesa, see a musical, or go onto the Ferris Wheel. She never can stay in the city for the duration of time like she wants. It wouldn’t be considered a big deal to her, but she has not been able to see her two dearest subway bosses.

Ingo and Emmet are the owners of the Gear Station. The brown-haired woman has challenged numerous stations before and has even made it all the way to battle with both of them. Mei was not exactly great at remember that both the bosses are exactly alike except that one wears a white conductor’s uniform, while the latter wears a black similar uniform.

Nonetheless, she still is always happy to see them both, since they are both quick to fix her mistake with a slight chortle. And the only way she can know exactly who is who is by the way Ingo reacted to her homemade sugar and chocolate chip cookies. He seemed to overact a bit to each bite, but there was still enjoyment in seeing them both eat her cookies.

For this visit, Mei decided she shall track the twins down. It was time for them to at least catch up a little, maybe even introduce him to a Kalos Pokémon she has from her journeys. “I wonder where they could be… Wait,” she slapped a palm to her face while shaking her head, “why didn’t I go to the obvious place? The Gear Station, Mei.”

Suddenly, a slight pat was felt on her head. She quickly removed her hand from her face, being met with a figure wearing an all-black uniform. Isn’t it too warm to be wearing this? She looked up to see the familiar face while shaking her head.

“Oh! Umm… wait, wait! It’s… Ingo, right? I’m right, right?”

Newt & Gabi || An Unplanned Encounter

Gabi had been wandering around the hallways for a while now, not ready to go back to her room after her first detention had finished with Flitwick. It hadn’t been bad at all, which she was relieved about. She knew people thought she got in trouble a lot, but getting detention was actually a first for her. The actual detention itself didn’t bother her, she knew it was worth it, but it was still something for her to think about. She found herself in front of the door to the Ravenclaw common room and paused before shrugging. She loved solving the riddles, even though she rarely entered the room. It was another way to prove she could have been sorted into any house. She solved the riddle with ease, but instead of walking away, she opened the door and went through. She hadn’t had a chance to see Newt since they had gotten back from break and wanted to catch up with him, especially with everything that had happened. Plus, she just missed talking to him, even though their talks usually ended up with her getting angry.

She walked up the stairs to the boy’s room and knocked on the door lightly before poking her head into it and was relieved to see Newt alone.

“Hey,” she said softly, not entering the room entirely in case he didn’t want to talk at the moment.
