New Unrecord Gameplay Video Released
Taking advantage of the GTA VI trailer hype, the French indie studio, DRAMA, posted a small new gameplay video of the Unreal Engine 5 first-person shooter, Unrecord. The game shows the bodycam of a policeman in the middle of the job and the action.
I had to remind myself that this shit was fake multiple times
The game is so realistic looking that the lead dev reissued footage showing that it is actually running inside Unreal Engine Editor, as many sceptics thought it was real video footage that had been filtered.
The realism is not only due to the graphics quality, but also that the point of view shown is that of a body cam, with the gun wavering and faces pixelated.
It is still in development though and only expected to have a release sometime in 2024.

Too real, this can't be a game - Unrecord
Unrecord is a gameplay video created using Unreal Engine 5, which uses some very innovative technologies to deliver fine-grained graphics and detailed environments. The environment uses Nanite technology to render high-resolution objects and Lumen technology to create light reflections and shadows. These technologies not only enhance the game's graphical quality, but also open up new possibilities for game design. While Unrecord hasn't been released as a game yet, the video has garnered a lot of technical interest. The game has graphics that could be mistaken for real-world environments captured by bodycam footage, and the game's style and features have yet to be revealed.
I'm excited to see how immersive a game like this can be for players.
