You know those rp partners where you start talking and you realize you've got a lot in common as far as preferred tropes, dynamics, ships, etc.? Yeah! We started talking and the more we talked the more we were the pointing spiderman meme I'm ngl. Love to see it when its on the dash and posting. Very sweet and patient and lets me spam them with silly memes and comics and art ooc lol.

Nayen puts so much time and energy into its muses too. Currently looking forward to seeing what it does with Team Black Star and how those kiddos develop!

Fox has never been anything other than kind to me and we talk a lot ooc mostly on discord. They put a lot of themself into their ocs so you can feel the heart. The characters they write really feel alive whenever I'm reading their posts. And ngl I do love seeing Isaiah and Kotone interact. We've also got some ideas for future aus down the line! ]

Galar was so lively. And Perrin was enjoying every moment of it. There were plenty of Pokemon that she hadn't seen before outside of the region and it was like she'd stopped every 5 minutes to get new pictures. At this rate, her sd card would be filled long before it was time to fly back home.

But that wasn't stopping her. The biggest thing on her bucketlist while she was here, was to get a picture of a gigantamaxed Pokemon.

"Hm... Did I come during the off season or something?" She muttered aloud. There didn't seem to be a lot of young trainers running around.

There’s that sensation again.

A sort of floating and falling sensation. The kind that only a passenger on a space station could describe as  “weightless”.

Which was impossible since Leon knew he wasn’t up that high. Blinding lights made opening his eyes difficult, but not impossible. He wasn’t sure how he ended up in yet another one of these blasted things.

No wait, he knows exactly why and who is causing this.

A solution on how to stop a mad scientist on the other side of the wormhole, however, wasn’t exactly quick to form as Leon minded his limbs, keeping them close to his body. There’s still no telling what happens if he connected with the sides. The last thing he needed was to be leaving parts of himself scattered beyond time and space.

That being said, the end to the kaleidoscope tube of danger was in sight and so he readied Cherry’s ultraball the moment his form was free of the light.

Unlike the first time, the portal was generous of spitting him out high in the air over Kalos. This time around, he was half the distance from the ground as his center of gravity changed abruptly, and her ball nearly tumbled from his hand. Thankfully she burst from her ball a second away before they hit the ground. He nearly bounced off her stomach the moment they impacted the earth had it not been for her arms around him.

If their entrance wasn’t rough enough, there was only a beat of time before the portal itself disrupted and imploded itself out of existence.

A loud boom resounding over the huge house- mansion? had shaken the windows and disrupted the local Pokemon to the point of fleeing. And in the middle of the impact site was ruined lilies, burned, roses, and crushed daisies, a dazed man and equally dazed Charizard.

“Oof... Ow. That... that was rough, Cherry. Too rough,”

Leon croaked out as he sat up with his partner’s arms falling to the side with an huff of agreement. He took the time to look around at their surroundings and... he doesn’t really know where the fuck he is now but for real this time.

stepping out of the elevator & into the beehive of activity at the hospital's reception area, the ice-specialist had anticipated being able to walk out silently / without making any point to draw attention to themselves. but as eyes swept the (admittedly less-busy than usual) ground floor's civilian access, a single individual stuck out like a sore thumb: demeanor / expression / position… all of it indicates to grusha they're out of place, perhaps even lost. so the pivot of their cane's handle toward the person in-question indicates their intent to move toward the hapless(?) person.

based on their crushed expression & gaze level with the sign indicating food was for patients (and friends/family) only, it's easy enough to guess he was searching for food. the indication that this was a hospital and not a restaurant was delivered expressionlessly, but followed up with an equally monotone suggestion he follow the gym leader.

the shift of the other's presence was immediate: from confused & disheartened to more energetic & anticipatory, grusha feels the twitch of their lips toward a smile behind their scarf. it's as they step through the sliding doors of the hospital's entrance that the taller man speaks, and grusha pauses to glance at his face. there's a sense of familiarity that comes alongside a better look, and the small furrow of grusha's brow indicates the confusion they feel: although there's some level of recognition, they can't place why.

"more or less," question's answered quietly, and the hand not leaning atop their cane gestures into the distance / glaseado's obscured silhouette visible if one blinks to focus once or twice. "that mountain's where i live. come to the city for… well, this." head cants backward slightly toward the hospital. "but i do know of a deli about two blocks from here. i typically get lunch there after mornings at the hospital."

without waiting for confirmation that would be satisfactory, the gym leader starts down the sidewalk / assumes the other will follow. "i'm grusha," introduction's offered casually, and a glance to the side invites their company to share as well. "you?"

"Family. Both blood and not. I'd be likely well with the earth if it wasn't for them. I also appreciate that they understand my wanderlust and don't mind my hobbies. Mostly. I think Mom could use a break from me getting into mortal trouble. And... anyone who gives me the time of day. I'm not a great person but I appreciate people letting me...try."

She would not stop fussing over the light eating dragon incident for a month. You definitely could do less of that Shay.

"My life is just a mountain climb. Sometimes it's easy once you figure it out, then you hit one loose stone and you break bones on the way back down. You hate it, it hurts. You want to scream, and sometimes you're alone. So you get back up and keep trying until you get to the top."

That's how it was for her and that's how she always saw it.

On this afternoon, Ignacio decided to train the most unruly of his Pokémon; the formidable beast with whom he had that fateful encounter in the Crater, the same creature because of which he was forced to hide his face under that helmet.

And maybe everything had been going a little too well. Susano'o was a lot more cooperative when they had powerful opponents to face, mercilessly beating the strong wild Pokémon that dared challenge them, rendering boulders into dust with a stomp, and only occasionally disregarding the orders of the one taming them.

Trainer and Pokémon were starting to understand what they wanted out of this bond they now shared. To realize they both had that yearning for strength. That neither would forgive the other for holding them back. How empowering it was, Ignacio thought, knowing the power that nearly took his life was now his to command.

He was going to love using it to humiliate that witch the way she humiliated him.

His enthusiasm, however, was doused as rapidly as the Walking Wake disposed of a wild Kingambit and the Bisharps of its entourage, when a voice, a human voice, reached his ears.

Susano'o rapidly turned their head, their pupil shrinking to a slit as they looked for the newcomer with that predatory glint in their gaze. With the same swiftness, Ignacio took his Poké Ball out of his pocket and in a flash, the Legendary Imposter disappeared from view.

Knowing the capricious nature of his once reluctant partner, the Dragon Tamer held the ball close to his chest, keeping the lid pressed firmly as it shook once, then twice, before Susano'o gave up and stopped moving. Now, the trainer felt comfortable enough figuring out how best to deal with the jackass interrupting their training...

"That was what we call a 'Pokémon'." He told the clueless onlooker, not trying to hide the sarcasm in his tone. "Never heard of these?"
