I guess it's only because the region where we grow our high-value fruit (cherries) is next to our luxury tourist region with rugged terrain (Queenstown, etc) that it's viable to use helicopters to prevent fruit freezing, or to dry the fruit after heavy rain.

Most places wouldn't have sufficient helicopters just lying around?
