The current demo ends after Lat and MC are told to get Gloria and get out and then there’s a fight right?

I’ve seen people talking about new characters and i think Iris? was it? looks very interesting.

The current demo ends in the G7 meeting, right as a bunch of giant mecha robots show up, yeah. I'm currently working on the chapter that tackles that particular fight, which has been... interesting, to say the least. Lots of variable to juggle, and since this fight will actually give insight on different characters depending on your choices, it still offers more variation than "punch/outsmart/charm/blast", though there will still be plenty of that.

It's been a wild process, but I've headed off the most complicated parts of it, I think. We'll soon be on the home stretch!

Also, I've posted Iris, but she's gonna be a very late addition to the cast. She's coming in around the endgame chapters, and while I think this particular firebrand who dislikes Seeker and Ignis will make an impression, she's not gonna be in the main team just yet. Hold on for a bit, folks!

A quick note from the author

Mornin', my lovlies.

I just wanted to give you heads up on my stories and updates since I did promise them by the end of last week and haven't posted any.

Last week has been kinda strenuous and difficult and in most parts, I've made it strenuous myself. I have a very demanding job (mostly mentally) that requires working on a computer for about 10 hours a day (sometimes even more) and when I'm done, I take my laptop and write. Haven't been sleeping very well, so being glued to the screen (work related or writing) all day took it's toll by the end of the week.

Maybe it was a cold, maybe just fatigue and exhaustion, but I couldn't move a muscle and it had been like that over the weekend too.

So... that's the main reason why I'm late with updates although I had every intention of writing over the weekend, but I just couldn't make myself get off the couch.

I'm sorry. I know a lot of you are eager to see updates for both my stories and they are coming soon, I promise.

Chapter 3 for COME TO ME is almost ready, just need to make some small changes.

Chapter 27 for The real Sassenach is at it's beginning but it will be up soon, as well.

In the meantime, if you would like to remind yourself of both stories or you're a new reader, here are the links 👆👆👆👆 that will guide you to them in one quick click.

I think I've managed to put the pressure of posting regularly on myself to such an extent that I feel someone will punish me if I don't. Since I have no intention of posting chapters just or the sake of posting and continuing the stories, I will take my time and post chapters that I love and know you will too.

I want to keep the flow and quality of previous chapters and really want you to like what you read, so I'll be posting once a week, for both stories. Whether it'll be on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, I'm not sure for now, but this weeks chapter updates will come.

So bare with me for just a wee bit, I promise it will be worth the wait.

First of all, hi!! I'm so glad you've enjoyed my story. Hearing that kind of thing always helps to brighten my day, I'm really happy that the content I put out is interesting to other people!

Second, yes! I can't give a date, exactly, (life has a funny way of screwing me over so I miss like, all my deadlines), but I do have plans for Chapter 5 to come out some time during January! I actually finished most of the mapping for it a while ago, so all that's been left is to keep writing it down.

I've taken a small break now that the holidays are here (and to deal with some issues, nothing serious, don't worry [ps. car crashes are *not* fun]) and to unwind a bit since I've just finished my semester, but don't worry, I'll be getting back into gear and ready to deliver the new content before the start of 2022 is over.

Any update info

Hey, hello! And yes!

I'd like to apologize with everyone first for not really communicating, as I was pretty sick. I was bedridden for quite a while, so I was unable to dedicate much time to writing, which is why the update is taking so long.

But! I'm feeling a lot better now, and I've been getting back into the swing of things this week. I can promise you guys that I'll have an update out before the end of the weekend. :)

If things continue as they have been, the update will be approximately 15k words (give a little, take a little), as it's the rest of Chapter 2.

It'll introduce the players to the last two romance options, alongside some optional insight into the MC's companions.

And, who knows, you might get to tell Stratton what you think of his speech about you at the beginning of Chapter 1...

Meanwhile, to tide you over until the update is out (Sunday at the latest, folks!), please take a look at this gorgeous commission I had done by the insanely talented Daniann__ over at Instagram.

Weekly Update 06/03/21

Hello, everyone! I know the update is slightly late, but I assure you, there's an... infuriating reason for that.

Before anything else, let's talk about A Tale of Heroes, however!

Chapter 3 is trudging along happily, if not at my usual speed. This is the chapter that, as those of you who check my forum posts might know by now, will serve as the introduction to one of the two most important plot points, so I'm doing constant recheckings alongside my writing to make sure it will have the necessary impact.

I'm not entirely sure of when Chapter 3 will come out, my early estimations had it not breaking 20k words, but I said Chapter 2 wouldn't break 15k, and... Well, y'all saw it.

Not all is good news, however. I mentioned above that I have a reason for not posting yesterday, or even posting the next Character Interview, and it's... a rather simple problem, but it's one that's really out of my hands.

Electricity in my region has been having many issues the past two weeks. It's not abnormal for me to go over 12 hours without it, and while my house does have its own generators, it's still something that cuts down quite a large chunk of my writing time. I'm not sure when the problem will be solved, either, so I try to get as much writing as possible done when I have the chance.

And... I think that's it for this week, really. The next Character Interview, provided my electricity company doesn't make a liar out of me, is coming tomorrow. Prepare for the Muscle Man of the League!

TL;DR: Electricity is messing with me, work is good, prepare for Plot™️. Never Meet Your Heroes ft. Forlorn is probably coming tomorrow.

Ah! Also, I'm scrounging up some monies currently for a nice surprise I want to show you guys, but it will probably have to wait for quite a while.
