These were the big winners of the #UpDaytonSummit: -The Reading Project by Karlos Marshall and Moses Mbeseha -Comfort Bags by Devon Stinson -Project Rebound by Bryan Stewart. I'm looking forward to see how these projects turn out over the course of a year. I think it's safe to say that #DaytonInspires all of them.
Yesterday I attended the #UpDaytonSummit and it was amazing. There were so many great ideas that were submitted. Even though only 3 of the 12 projects were able to be to be greenlit by #UpDayton, those that were not chosen are still capable of existing and make their own strides throughout #Dayton.
I'm proud to introduce one of Dayton's newest projects, Vertical Visions. It's a collaborative effort between the Dayton P.D., neighborhood leaders, community activists, and the citizens of Dayton. It's all about bringing art to the forefront of Dayton and giving it a new image. I'm very excited to see what will come from this. #DaytonInspires #UpDayton #UpDaytonSummit #VerticalVisions
