I’ve grown so much. I’m stronger now.
The WORST thing to hear from a doctor is "That's interesting." ESPECIALLY if they look genuinely interested.
That means you're about to spend the next six hours getting test after test, hoping to discover a condition they haven't even thought about since they graduated med school, only to be told your tests all came back clean so you're fine even though you're in the worst pain of your life.

Figure drawing. What’s the line between drawing and painting these days? I am never quite sure which I’m doing.

A useful thing that's been helping with my general tight shoulders / upper back nonsense recently:
- Acquire tennis ball. - Lie on floor, on back. - Put tennis ball under back, roughly between your shoulder blade and spine on the achy side (I do both, one after another). Or just on wherever it is the most tight. - Relax weight. Swear quietly, as this will probably hurt a bit since it's pressing into tight muscles. - Sometimes feel things move. Sometimes do not. Either way, keep lying on the ball until the pressure doesn't hurt anymore. - Move ball to next area.
I've found this loosens things up quite nicely! Also it's a hell of a lot cheaper than massages.
Do note I’m not any form of professional in this regard, and as with anything if you try it and it hurts a lot then it’s probably not helping for you.
Check out this one weird trick from local entomologist??
