Apps to save money

In times of crisis there are no better news than finding new ways to save money. If you are a smartphone user and you like to have the best without paying too much, here's a list of applications to save money (or at least not spend so much):

The day of the German unity - Tag der deutschen Einheit

The day of German Unity is a nationwide public holiday celebrated on October 3rd. This date marks the day in 1990 on which the German Democratic Republic (East) acceded to the Federal Republic. During that day thousands of people walked through the Brandenburg Gate to symbolize the union between the two Germanys.

The celebration includes concerts, communal meals and a fireworks show to close the day. Every year there’s a four-day long festival around Brandenburg Gate and the "Straße des 17. Juni". Visitors can find booths with sweets, food and beverages, as well as bands offering free concerts on different stages.
