#SpeakUpForPuertoRico We need your voice! The current economic and political situation in #PuertoRico needs to be heard on American and international forums. Puerto Rico is currently run by an imposed, non-elected fiscal control board with the goal of paying the island’s debt of over $70billion without audit, revision or restructure, putting the interests of vulture fund managers and their possibly illegal transactions with the Puerto Rican government over the needs of its people. The Financial Oversight and Management Board put in place by the #PROMESA bill, runs on a budget of at least $370million dollars paid by Puerto Rican taxpayers, and some of its members have been tied to the same corporations responsible for the crisis. With cuts in funding to public education and pensions, changes to health care, and government right-sizing, the board’s determinations are seemingly non-negotiable and exempt from local law. The fiscal control board and its austerity measures are not the solution. Speak up for Puerto Rico! #UPR #Uprrp #UPRM #UPRH #UPRC #UPRP #UPRCA #UPRA #UPRB #UPRU #RCM #UPRAG
Update : the US congress controll board in Puerto Rico heavily suggested that the goverment cut 300 million dollars from the UPR budget (the “state” public college) which would effectively close 8 out of the 11 campuses in the island .

New look, Same Great Taste!
Hey everybody, as you may have noticed, our podcasts Fanservice and Ultimate Power Rangers Marathon (UPRM) have stopped posting and our name has changed. We had a series of hiccups with branding and logistics that temporarily forced us into hiatus but ultimately led to an amazing opportunity! Our podcasts have been adopted by the lovely guys of FanboyTV! (we’ll post an explanation of exactly how that happened later)
Basically what this means is that our podcast about fandom culture formally known as Fanservice will now be called Canon Fodder and UPRM will remain under the same name. Both of our current podcasts along with any future content that we will provide (and we have some great stuff in the works for yall) will be under the greater umbrella of RAH LITerature. FanboyTV have graciously offered to host our content and welcomed us into their family.
If you haven’t heard of FanboyTV you should head over to their website, but basically, it is a local (Austin) group that puts on live tv about all things geeky, nerdy, and down right weird. They also produce podcasts and shorter video content…so the perfect place for us!
