i hate HATE the misogyny in h2o: just add water. they purposefully made rikki emma and cleo be like the "not like other girls" trio of females that the male 60 year old writers obviously just thought were superior/what real women r like (???) and then they made charlotte, a "basic," bossy, idk manipulative??? etc girl, and then used her over and over to fill misogynistic tropes and cat fights with the other girls! then discarded her ❤️!
not saying that i even rlly like charlotte but it's just so obvious that the writers hated her and projected their misogyny onto her y'know? like it was so misogynistic that it was almost impossible to watch. that's what happens when like 3 adult men try to write a show abt teenage girls tho <3
