she's hellishly good at games. not just any games, but card games in particular.

most card games come with stakes, so uraraka learned to be super competitive when it came to them. she does anything to win - whether it's counting cards, cheating, or sabotaging her opponent.

but apart from card games, she also loves monopoly. any time she plays, she always wins. she swindles everybody out of their money, and everybody's just grateful she decided to become a hero instead of some finance or business-related career. she would have ruled the world if otherwise.

Can you please write a fic about Uraraka using her quirk to carry deku bridal style and just picks him up randomly from time to time as they hang out to tease him. thanks!

Uraraka Randomly using her Quirk on Deku

LOLL yes please that sounds so funny Uraraka’s quirk is literally top tier type of quirk to use for pranks

The first time she does it was just for pure experimentation

It was actually supposed to be a strength contest and Uraraka wanted to “cheat” in the strength competition by using her quirk to pick up Deku and carry him

Deku was NOT expecting it and lowkey freaked when he started to feel lighter in Uraraka’s arms out of nowhere

From then on it’s just been an ongoing gag between the two

If Deku was ever training too much and hurting his own body more than enhancing it Uraraka would quite literally just use her quirk on him and bridal style carry him out of the training room

Or honestly sometimes Deku will literally just be napping and he’ll start floating out of nowhere because of Uraraka

AND THEN they start to get an audience -- Class 1-A starts to become more involved in the joke and will literally give Uraraka ideas on how to mess with Deku

There was a period of time when Deku was VERY paranoid of everything because he just knew that Uraraka was going to try and trick him

And he was completely correct,, Uraraka did try to prank him and he literally fell for it every single time

After a while Deku got used to the teasing and he started to embrace it

He literally started to LOOK FORWARD to Uraraka using her quirk on him because that would mean he wouldn’t need to use up that much energy to get from one place to another LOL

Literally asks Uraraka to make him float and drag him to the training room because he just woke up and he’s too lazy to walk there himself

uraraka needs a weapon

remember the first training exercise class 1a did and how iida (smart boy) rendered uraraka’s quirk nearly useless by getting rid of all the items in the room? yeah, let’s keep that from happening again.

uraraka would really benefit from having a weapon similar to sir nighteye’s high-density seals. they’re incredibly powerful and with her anti-gravity quirk, she could actually get away with using ones even heavier than nighteye’s.

to keep with the space-adjacent theme we have going on, the weights could be made to look like the planets in the solar system. they could be kept in her utility belt or around her wrist like a bracelet—they don’t have to be big, just dense.

As much as I hate to say it, I think it her song would have to be jealousy, jealousy. Now. this is because we know that she doesn’t come from the best family money wise. Which, isn’t a bad thing, and I never really saw her get upset about it. Though, I could see her relating to these lyrics because she might not always get to have the coolest clothes. Or go on the coolest trips with her friends. She just seems like she might relate to them, especially the lyric “I wanna be you so bad and I don’t even know you” because she might see people on social media with all these cool things. As much as she knows she should be happy for these random strangers, she feels bitterness and jealousy out because of what they have. Which is why, I’m conclusion, she will strive so hard to become a hero, so she doesn’t have to let the jealousy get her down and she can go and do all the things she wants to.

> Mina

I gotta say I think Mina would have a soft spot for enough for you. As a fandom, I have seen we have kinda made her out as like the tiktok/trendy/aesthetic person (which is accurate, she would be). So, I think if she ever did go through a break-up, the song would really hit home for her. Because as peppy and extroverted as Mina is, I could see her, if forced to, try and change herself to be less peppy or less energetic. Maybe change her whole trendy and fun personality. So whilst we hear Olivia talk about trying hard to be trendy in the song, I think Mina would simply relate to the “trying to change yourself” part. Especially the lyric that goes “now I don’f want your sympathy I just want myself back”

> Momo

happier, she would be happier and her end why. I see Momo as the type of person to like songs that have a title that might mean one thing but a message that might mean another. So, just looking at the title happier, not knowing anything about it, you might think “oh, it means they are ya know, happier then they where before right? Like they are doing great now.” But, as we know them Olivia’s song, it means anything but that. Also, Momo after a breakup, like the strong but HUMAN woman she is, I feel would be a bitter type of sad, like happier is. So she would definitely say something along the lines of “I hope your happy, but don’t be happier”

> Jiro

We all know Jiro loves rock and punk-ish grunge type music. Well, since Olivia’s album is pop, it would be hard to match that vibe. The even remotely closest thing to rock in Olivia’s SOUR album is brutal. So, I think if Jiro was a song from that album it would be brutal. I could see her learning it on her guitar and just jamming out to it. Could toatally see her screaming the line “I’m so sick of 17, where’s my fucking teenage dream”. So, yeah, she would, if had to pick, like brutal

Mind if I get headcanons for momo, ochako, and jirou (separate) reacting to their male s/o’s hero costume looking like mando from the mandolorian plz

Course not, my dear anon! Man, I really had to think about some of these, and do some research because I actually don’t know a whole lot about Star Wars but I have read, and now I am prepared. Let’s do this!

Momo:

- Surprisingly… actually gets the reference!

- Man, she had a lot of free time growing up and while plenty of it was spent studying… she reserved some for being the secret nerd she is, and actually she is way more into Star Wars than she lets on.

- So when she sees you, looking all snazzy in that mando helmet and gear, she has stars in her eyes as she inspects the costume further. “Is… is this really?”

- “Yup.”

- “This is amazing! And why didn’t you tell me you were into Star Wars?”

- “Why didn’t you?”

- Lol, she’s too flustered to reply, but honestly? She thinks the fact you based your costume design on Star Wars is just really awesome, and if she could, she’d totally try to match.

- Also, you’ve opened up a whole new galaxy of conversation because from this point onwards, she will talk Star Wars everything with you, if you want to, that is.

Ochako:

- Unfortunately, does not get the reference. This baby right here, knows next to nothing about Star Wars, so all she can do is stare at you blankly with a smile that screams “I don’t know what you’re so excited about, but I’ll pretend I do and I support you always.”

- “Hon, come on, the Mandalorians? Boba Fett? Is any of this ringing a bell?”

- “No, I only had so many of the comics that my dad gave me, and none of us could afford to get more or watch the movies. Definitely not enough to pay for disney plus…”

- And there’s a pitying aura in the air, this isn’t the case of “what? You haven’t watched XYZ? You haven’t lived then!” This is a case of “I genuinely wanted to experience this, but I couldn’t.”

- So, as a great boyfriend, you take the necessary action of binging the entire Star Wars series with her, along with lending out any comics you may or may not have.

- And she’s so happy and she thanks you literally every time you get done with a movie and there are stars in her eyes because you, my good friend, have awakened the Star Wars fever that she always wanted to have.

- Now, whenever she sees your costume, she gets so giddy because she knows what it means now, all the lore behind it and it’s all thanks to you.

- Overall, doesn’t get it at first, but boy does she learn, and she is so happy to have learned.

Jirou:

- Jirou’s an… interesting case.

- She understands the reference being made in your costume, if only because you’re always talking about Star Wars. However, unlike Momo or Ochako, she never really had an interest in it.

- Don’t get me wrong, she doesn’t hate it or anything! She actually kind of likes listening to you talk about it and she can see why it’s interesting, but she was so caught up in her rocker/punk style that she never quite got on the Star Wars train.

- She actually laughs a little at first. “Really? Bringing Star Wars into your hero work?”

- “Well yeah, I thought it’d be cool, plus it meshes well with my quirk! … Does it look stupid?”

- “No, no! It’s not stupid, I think it’s perfect. It showcases how big of a dork you are, and it’s a good thing you’re my dork.”

- She actually starts listening to the soundtrack of the Mandalorian series, figuring out how to play it on her guitar, and she’ll mindlessly strum the notes to it when you’re with her.

- Overall, she teases you for it, but not in a harsh or condescending way, and she does support you making it your own!

uraraka headcanon #5

she's actually super clumsy. thanks to her quirk, her body is super in tune to the gravitational fields around her. 

her body automatically adjusts to the gravitational force of the objects closest to her, and this has caused her to lose her balance many times because she doesn't consciously realise when she's done it.

at first, she thought that it might mean that she could float herself, but the she realises that it was just a side effect of her quirk. she's learned to live with it, but occasionally, if you drop a few things around her, chances are that she'll trip over her feet because she miscalculated.
