Hello my 3 fellow urashin fans

Week 2 - Camping - Fall Splendor Event by @soulsocietyevents
Unpopular opinion:
I dislike Shinsou x blondes. Like, I feel absolutely no chemistry with those ships whatsoever. Especially Shinmono, but that’s probably my general dislike towards Monoma. By blondes I mean his most popular ships, by the way.
Maybe it’s not even them. Maybe it’s the electric blonde x subdued insomniac thing, because I don’t ship Erasermic either. It’s just such a repititive trope the only exception being shinojiro.
I do like their friendships and dynamic, but turning it romantic genuinely exhausts me. Monoma can just.. stay there. In that corner. Raving to himself. Of all the characters, i connect with him the least, and my bitch of an ex-bff is only PARTLY the reason.
Maybe Im just needlessly picky. I’ve got this vision stuck in my head and I’m definitely biased. I like Shinsou with people on the same wavelength as him, if different frequencies. Like Todoroki, or Momo, or Tsu or even Ochako to some extent. Iida too. The list gets cut off very short when I only want calmer, slightly more relating people.
And it’s not even that they have to be similar, and I DO enjoy opposites attract. But I love it when the differences aren’t surface level, they’re in sync but still their own instrument. Shintodo likes naps, but Shouto likes it because it gives him a sense of safety, hence alluding to warmth, and Shinsou likes it because it silences his brain, hence alluding to a colder conclusion. Hot and cold, see?
In short, I like nuance rather than stark differences, and boy are the ships I mentioned full of nuance. Shintodo is lonely. Shouto from isolation and Hitoshi from alienation. Shiniida has something to prove. ShinMomo doesn’t feel self confidence. Shinochako are underdogs. Shintsu are self serving.
If you like Shinkami or Shinmono, I’m not trying to attack you. I just wanted to rant about these- in my eyes- overused ships and the other ones I feel could be super neat. And yeah, it seems I ship Shinsou with more girls than guys, even if I ship him with those two boys with more intensity.
I just needed to get this out of my system because I’ve seen so. Many. Shinmono. Posts. In my feed and I can’t figure out how to block it and it’s frustrating me. I don’t know where they’re coming from I NEVER interacted with Shinmono posts in the first place.

OK, there are so many, but lets try.
AiShin:
😏 Who is bolder in public (hand-holding, kisses, etc.)?
None. I mean, it's their dirty little secret. They won't go public about showing there is anything going on between them. No one should know, that's a part of a thrill of it. And knowing Aizen, he is especially careful not to slip, perfectly pretending the thing they did half an hour ago has no effect on him. And knowing Shinji, he might be tempted to ruin that perfectly careful facade on purpose by doing something bold just to piss Aizen off, and then to regret this choice dearly. On the other hand, because Aizen has a failsafe of Kyoka Suigetsu himself out of any public situation, he'd be willing to take some risk in a public place...
🕰️ If they could go back in time, what moment would they relive together?
Oh, I bet there were moments of genuine connection, calm, or what almost felt like having fun back in the Soul Society.
Like that time they came up with the exactly same plan/strategy for the mission and they understood that their way of analytic/strategic thinking isn't that far apart, like, that they could teamwork so well if they tried. Or maybe just something small that started as pretending but turned out to be a bit too comfortable for both, like walking through a blooming garden in silence, but not this hostile type of silence, just a calm one that doesn't ask anything from you. And then something like: "These assholes from Central 46, am I right...", and Aizen blinking, cause yeah, Shinji is totally right about them. And they both know it.
🖤 What’s the darkest “we’ll never tell anyone” thing they’ve done together?
Aside from them having an work-place affair? Hmm, that is tricky because usually Shinji has an eye on Aizen and each suspicious move could end up with reporting him, however, Shinji is also the one who would break some rules and Aizen, playing a loyal lieutenant, would help covering for him. So what if one time it went really poor, they were not where they supposed to be and that cost some lives, and this is yet another secret shared between them?
Happy Birthday, Kisuke Urahara!
