I remember hearing a story when I was a kid at a family gathering of one of our great great great grandmothers Bessie Lockheart fighting the Comanche with big old Colt Navy Revolver while holding her newborn baby over her dying soldier husband. I was so proud of Grandma Bessie. Until somebody told me that if your ancestors have been in West Texas for more than five or six generations you will have this story in your family tree.

Ever heard of “Trunking”? . . Trunking locks two dogs in the trunk of a car and allowing them to fight while driving around with music blasting so loud that no one can hear what is going on in the trunk. After a few minutes, the stupid asses stop and the trunk is opened. Whichever dog is dead or injured is thrown into the streets like trash, the victor lives to fight again. Fake comic cover for a side au that I will eventually do more with. A super innocent modern au where everyone is CLEARLY human and doing really NORMAL things.
