question for y’all;
okay so this has been fucking me up, and I was talking to Kezzy about it last night.
URL CHANGING. I have legitimately tried to change this URL twice now, and doing so is fine and dandy, but there’s one problem. Every single damn time I switch his URL (the same way as anyone else - changing the username under your customize options) the content from the prior URL is unavailable to be seen. I’m also not the first person this has happened to, there are other muns who have experienced the same problem.
For example: If we have a thread going and I change my url between reblogs, my replies from before will not be able to be read because it will come up as the blog being gone and the post unavailable. Like I just got rid of the blog and here’s this new one, brand new, in turn making RPing difficult when I can’t see the last damn reply. I have this name saved on a sideblog as well, so there’s no reason it shouldn’t work. But it is a pain in the ass. If this makes sense?
If anyone knows why this is a thing that’s occurring, your input is appreciated. Because I’d like to be able to continue old threads and still be able to change my damn username. -.-
