The craolig roared as the Bloody Crown and him clashed into each other. The urlathrei’s blood boiled with rage and the heat of the battle. Her very blood seemed to sign in her vein as she sunk her teeth into  the male craolig. He screeched in pain as he kicked at her slicing her skin open.

Blood began to fill the arena as The two kuros broke apart and started to circle each other. The male let out a Sonic blast kicking up dirt and debris as it raced toward the female. She manage to avoid most of the blast but the dirt blinded her as the shockwaves knocked her off her feet. The male didn’t hesitate as he rushed for her throat.

He knew he had to keep her from breathing her deadly insects. She managed to get clear her eyes and roll under him. She them fired him with her horns. Hot blood cover her face. He collapsed screaming. She inhaled sharply and inflated her throat. She let loose a screech as wasp like insects attacked him. They stung him and his flesh instantly festered and started to rot. Necrosis immediately set in. He passed out and she roared in triumph.

“Never call me a child of Urlathein again. Or next time I will not stop when you pass out. Next time Bruja'heim will guide me to your death.” She hissed to her opponent as he woke screaming in pain. She stood proudly as she left the arena with her horns covered in blood, showing all of Kurosia why she was called the Bloody Crown.

This is my urlathei girl I dreamed of. I doodled this listening to Wardruna and Volbeat and felt like adding a story. Not very good story but none the less. She has a crown of  six horns and due to her battle prowess became known as the Bloody crown. Her insects cause necrosis. She also aspires to become queen and lead kurosia into a golden era.i desperately need to name her

I loved reading this, seriously awesome job writing a fight scene! It was a very good story I could see many Kuros repeating to each other about her, the name is very ominous I JUST LOVE IT??? And the necrosis idea is just horrifying and perfect, it made my skin crawl! XD I really adored sitting here and reading this, thank you so very, very much. It made me feel that spark I’ve been missing for months, thank you so very much!!! ~Weird Hyenas

Lost Queen : Okay THAT guy I definitely remember.

His name was Brubb. Yes, Brubb. He was a Gargoyle sculptor, I went to him when I was shopping for a gargoyle of my own. There were many who sculpt and enchant them, but he was very... weird. He’d want you to witness him sculpting your gargoyle that you ordered, all the while asking you the most bizarre questions. Like what you ate that day, how your talons were doing, if your bowel movements were regular...that kind of stuff. I never understood his appeal.

I personally didn’t buy from him, I wanted a gargoyle to use as a journal of sorts (whom I do still own, Goliath), and I wasn’t willing to sit down for days while he sculpted and asked me far too personal of questions. However a dragon I grew up with, Brombe, swore to Mahoura that Brubb made the best gargoyles. But for me? No, noooooooooooooo thank you

Lost Queen : Oh, I think I remember him, vaguely. His name was Saemir, and he was a writer, running his own publication service. He focused on writing about Kurosia, all of it. From plantlife, environments, beasts, everything. His books were very popular for colleges to use, and I had many in my private collection. He was very specific in his research for his books, but was rather quiet and uninterested in socializing. It was pretty obvious he preferred keeping to himself to research and write, so I never spoke to him myself.

Finally after a long wait (my apologies), the Urlathei are here! Say hello to your buggy new friends 8D

The ref itself it way too big for tumblr, so it’s up on my dA! It’s the most detailed I’ve gone into a breed, but I plan on doing an in-depth ref of all the breeds like this for the Kurosia website.

Their lore will be updated at a later date! It needs some more tweaking, but since the ref itself was already completed, I wanted to post them up instead of waiting :D
