Artist: Hendrik Munnichhoven (Dutch, 1622–1664)

Description
Magnus Gabriel De la Gardie has to take a step down, as he is outranked by his wife, Princess Maria Eufrosyne, the sister of the future Charles X Gustav. The difference between them is also underlined by the fact that the whole of her gown is of gold cloth, while her husband’s costume is black with gold trim. The plants allude to fertility and the little dog to fidelity. The artist Münnichhofen came from the Netherlands and entered De la Gardie’s service.

Dear friends,
Over the course of the next week, I will be looking to purchase a special urn to store Bonbon's ashes. I'm not sure yet how much it will be, but I want to give everyone the option to be a part of that process. Many of you know how much joy she's brought not just to me, but to everyone who got a chance to meet her and to know her. So, if you would like to donate towards her urn, whatever you feel comfortable with, I have created a GoFundMe. I also have Venmo, Cashapp, and PayPal if you would like to donate there. I know money is tight for a lot of people right now, so I don't want anyone to feel pressured or obligated. Just know that if you do donate, even if it's only a dollar, I love and appreciate you. No donation is too small.
If I happen to have any money left over after the urn, it will be donated to Dolly's Dream Home Rabbit Rescue so that another bunny is given a chance at a life just as wonderful and as full of love as Bonbon's was. Thank you for your unwavering love and support during this difficult time. My heart hurts, but it is so so full thanks to all of you.
