And it's like, I've always known, you know.
Recently I've been feeling like I'm faking being a therian because... I don't know, really.
But, my whole childhood, MY WHOLE CHILDHOOD, I would think about running away into the woods, and I would howl at the moon, and make bear dens with my bottom bunk bed, and I was so desperate to be anything but human.
I mean, when I learned about Manifestation(which I now know is lowkey bullshit. I was raised on "the secret", I would know), I would lay on the couch and repeat to myself "I am x animal, I am x animal" (it was usually a wolf or bear and on one memerable occasion a kangaroo) and I would rub my legs and arms and rub my face to feel my fur and muzzle and cry everytime it never worked.
After a while, I grew up, shit happened, and I stopped doing all of that. But I never stopped feeling the way I do. Everytime we went to the zoo, I would long to be in the cages with the animals, because I was one of them, I would cling to the glass as i watched the bears swim around.
I wasn't pretending, I never was, and now that I know I'm a Therian, everything feels so right, so correct.
So, my therians of this hellsite, you're not faking it, you're not lying or acting for attention. You're valid. You're real.
Does anyone else have this same experience?
