This is not ok. Don't even get me started on how hard it is to even get on disability.

Going through junk mail today. For context I am on state health insurance due to disability.
A few years ago I sprained my ankle - I can’t remember if it was the time it was going to to the laundry downstairs or at my brother’s house, but the point is it was family.
I went to urgent care and got a brace for it. A few weeks later I get a letter from the healthcare people telling me I should sue the people responsible for my injury.
It was clear from the letter that they didn’t know details of what happened and I ignored it because that’s my go to move when baffling things happen. They wanted to sue whoever to cover the cost of the injury. For the urgent care visit and the fucking ankle brace.
So in case you want another insight to our dystopic healthcare system, they just want you to sue. The fact they didn’t follow up is good, but the fact they sent that letter in the first place is gross. I’m not suing my fricken family over this, ya weirdos.
If the injury was a corporation’s or wealthy person’s fault, yeah I would sue. But the fact it wasn’t a choice to pursue that, they just wanted me to sue my parents’ or brother’s home owner’s insurance is insane.
can someone please explain to me why the fucking ssa.gov website has hours of operation. why is this a thing. i am nocturnal and just want to check on my mcfreaking disability application
So, I'm in the process of doing the Disability/SSI appeal before a judge and I'm seriously wondering, does anyone have suggestions for alternatives if you are continuously denied?
I need to prepare for the possibility that they are going to continue to deny me but that doesn't mean I can work so I'm unsure what my other options would be and any attempts to research it simply say to get a lawyer and keep appealing, which really isn't in the cards for me, as I attempted to call around and ask but the people who like determine if their services fit and if your case have merit before transferring you to a lawye didn't really listen to me and kept insisting that I needed more work credits than would be possible at my age and everything so all it did was provide more stress and no assistance
What other options are there? I don't really know that there are any
Any communication I receive about my Disability applications fills me with immediate anxiety and dread, which I think is the exact opposite thing you should want when dealing with people with health problems
My SSI got denied again today (Happy Thanksgiving to me right? -_-) but my Disability is still under consideration for another 2-4 weeks, and I'm wondering if I should wait those 2-4 weeks before appealing so I can do them both at once if the Disability gets denied too since I have 60 days to appeal, we shall see I guess, but hopefully the fact that we are now looking into an EDS diagnosis will help in some way 🤞🤞🤞
