Something crazy about the US govt is they just don't give a fuck about anybody. Like I knew that already but reading; "the US goaded Cuban dissidents into invading Cuba, an act which failed to do anything but get a lot of them killed or taken prisoner" and immediately hopping over to "next, the US floated the idea of just assassinating those Cuban dissidents that were hiding out in America and pinning the blame on Cuba."

Like y'all are some shady ass bitches truly no one's doing the triple backstab quite like the feds...

Seeing a number of Venezuelans cheering on the US for kidnapping Maduro and giving them "freedom" is giving me war flashbacks of seeing a number of Hong Kong protestors calling for US and/or (god forbid) UK govts to free them from China. I support citizens wanting sovereignty for their country and to be free from occupation and dictatorship, but your country's salvation will never come from the US or any Western imperialcore country ever.

The best way to quell the violence and actually help Haiti begin the long healing process needed to establish lasting peace and prosperity is for the US to get out of the way.

When I talk about "blowback" in terms of foreign policy, I am not blaming innocent Americans or trying to justify the actions of disgusting terrorists. The concept simply says that big government foreign policy has costs and consequences. There are unintended consequences of the U.S. government militarily intervening--which typically leads to civilian casualties-- and taking sides in internal overseas conflicts. We would be much safer and less prone to attacks if the U.S. government would mind its own business and not screw everything up. ~ Julie Borowski
