what’d be great is if most health classes had an lgbtq unit- it would definitely help most kids who were constantly being brought down- and you know TEACH KIDS HOW TO BIND THEIR CHESTS SAFELY

We give Americans a lot of shit, but I think you're students, teachers and parents are so unbelievably brave and strong. If I knew that me or my peers might get shot one day at school, I'd dropout in a heartbeat. So for everyone wondering if this schoolday might be their last, I just want to say you're amazing. The strength you have to continue your education despite being in such a dangerous environment is fucking inspiring.

Philadelphia is set to close 23 public schools, nearly 10 percent of the city's total. 81 percent of students impacted by school closings are black, even though they make up only 58 percent of the population. Meanwhile, the city has recently begun work on a $400 million prison project, said to be "the second-most expensive state project ever."

THIS is what's wrong with our country. I strongly urge anyone thinking of moving to Philadelphia not to send their kids to our public schools. It is no fucking joke, my niece and nephew literally have to buy toilet paper and chalk for the school because they are so broke. It's disgusting what our city has done to it's educational system... O but there is money for fucking prisons. I'm so fucking pissed about this.
