Well, I just made a tidying addition to my synth:

I found this adapter — USB-B to USB-A socket — and have it connected via a short cable to the Teensy 4 in my Ornament & Crime. I can thus connect and disconnect to it without taking the module out of the case or (my previous hack) dangling a USB cable through the openings on the front.

And by using this adapter I've been able to connect my phone to some of the O&C MIDI applets. I need to check the docs to figure out how to get real use out of it, but I did succeed in getting CVs and gates from the Marbles clone to play a phone app synthesizer over USB MIDI. So yay!

I'll be hosting a work shop in chicago where participants can build a USB MIDI synth based on the SEGA master system sound chip.

The design and instructions were made by little-scale.  He's given me permission to put on this workshop.  Its all for the expansion of the chipscene!
