I am still in total shock about the events that occurred at my school today. You hear about things like this but you never believe it will happen to you. It breaks my heart that anyone would have the desire to take someone's life in such a way.

I am still so shaken by everything. You always hear about these kinds of things happening, but you never think it will happen to you. Carolina is MY school and its MY HOME.

Forever to Thee

Today was easily the scariest day of my life. Sitting in a lecture hall for an hour, not knowing where the gunman was, and being only one building from the original shooting. Hearing sirens and alarms going off suddenly. Being on lockdown, and hearing the fear in her voice as she pleaded for nobody to leave their classrooms. I have never been more terrified for my life than in that moment.

Can anyone tell me what happened today at University of South Carolina. I know there was a shooting with two victims, but can anyone give me more info? A couple people (from the actual school by what I gathered from their tweets), said it was a murder-suicide.
